I've got a concept for a roleplay, so collab thread away.
I've really, really wanted to do a roleplay based on the premise of S4 League.
In a nutshell, this roleplay will be a sci-fi shooter set somewhere in the 2100-2200s. The S4 League is essentially a league for a competitive sport shooter, where specialized players from around the world hook up to a virtual reality system where they battle with stereotypical sci-fi weapons (Plasma swords, railguns, etc) in various game modes. Don't be fooled, it's not a regular "video game" - the S4 League's virtual matches require extreme athletic ability, dexterity and agility to be able to pull off feats that would be impossible in real life such as wall jumps, high leaps, and wall runs.
Basically, this is a sci-fi sport shooter played in virtual reality matches, made for entertainment purposes (S4 League is broadcasted throughout the entire world during matches, and its number of Television ratings exceed that of even conventional sports). Various match-ups would be made, including deathmatch, CTF, etc, etc.
Keep in mind, no modern weapons would be within the game. It would be all sci-fi-ish stuff. Really fantastical weapons (Similar to that in an anime such as Gundam, something like that).
If anyone's going to be on the boat for this, keep in mind that the roleplay will require a very intensive level of participation. I (And some other moderators which I'll nominate for the roleplay) will direct the different matches for the game, as well as dealing with regular game-world controlling stuff.
So, anyone up for it? You could change some stuff to your liking, but I do have the basic concept down. This is a collab, after all. |

All right, we've got at least one person on the boat.
Keep in mind that you should put a certain amount of effort into making your posts in the roleplay as descriptive as possible. Proper grammar, spelling, punctuation and syntax helps too. |

| So long as you keep your posts easy-to-read, I'm fine. I just don't want my roleplay to be really bogged down with bland posts like "I ran to the X," "I took my rifle and shot X and killed him," etc. |

So something like
A plasma bolt was heading towards me i either dodge it or deflect it. I take out my shield and hope the plasma does not
Or something like this
I shot a rocket towards the house that had mysterious markings on it |
