This is a basic guide of what to do before, during and after a meeting. May be changed in time. (this thread looks best with roblox forum enhancer!)
----------
[----------What to wear------------] Coming to a meeting in a RAT uniform is acceptable, though it looks more formal if you wore some kind of *suit*. Our uniforms are meant for forts and raids, and they look very tacky at a meeting table. I have no means to be picky, although it just looks better. Would you go to a marriage in casual clothes? Don't overreact at this, roleplay just makes a game fun! If you were to ask me what suit to wear, I would recommend you something by blobmista4 or sheeppie. I am not restricting you to their choice, though, you are free to wear anything as long as it can be classified as a suit.
[----------Preparing for a meeting------------] Meetings can show up at any time, although they are not that common. To make sure you don't miss one, always be on the lookout for shouts. If they are semi-important ones, they are usually announced some time before taking place. Unless you have been given a specific role by the host of the meeting to prepare a presentation or speech of sorts, there isn't much to do but make sure you can arrive on time. You should also be prepared to stay on your chair, in your room, for as much as half an hour, just so you don't miss anything. If, by chance, you do, you can always ask a friend on xf or something what had happened. Try not to disturb the meeting (will be talked about later on). If the meeting is very important and you know it, double check with the peeps at your house that you won't have to be bothered with dinner or anything. It sounds pathetic, but it does help a lot. If you really want to prepare out of some weird need, you can always make sure a recording system is open, in which we can read the text in the playback. Recording meetings are very useful, but if you upload them to YT, make sure to make them private (only those with the link can see it) if it discussed things meant to be kept between RAT. Afterwards, send a link to an Admiral and they may publish it somewhere.
[----------Arriving & During the meeting------------]
Upon arriving at the meeting place, which is specified in the, I ask you sit right away, and do not speak unless the Admiral allow you to. If the Admiral announces he is ready to begin, you are to immediately stop all of what your doing and focus all of your attention on him/her. Try not to make any problems prior to the meeting. If there are guns in the place, restrain yourself from equipping them unless you are a guard. Stop yourselves from asking many questions that will waste the Admiral's time. Do not ask "Can I sit next to you?" or "Can I say something on the mic later?" If the Admiral needs you, they will call upon you; simply stay attentive. During the meeting, it is common sense but I will have to repeat it: **Do not speak!!** Being distracted in a speech is terribly annoying, and if the Admiral bans you, don't cry about it. If you are asked a question, you may speak. If you wish to ask a question, wait until the Admiral allows you to. Do not disturb the speaker under *any* circumstance. Under the "do not disturb" policy, stay sitting down during the whole thing. Don't get up at a random time just because you feel like it. Try not to take out any tool at any time, either, as this may bother others around you. There is a bunch more I could say about how not to disturb someone, but anyone with a brain can think of plenty of good reasons why not to talk during a meeting.
[----------After the meeting------------] After the meeting has been adjourned (wait until the Admiral says so, do not stand up when you think it's done), it is preferred you leave the place. If you have any questions, you can stay to see if the Admiral will answer them. If not, you can always send them a PM. Try not to disturb the Admiral too much after the meeting, as it gets really annoying. If you go to a fort afterwards, feel free to tell members what it was about. As mentioned earlier, if you were recording, make sure to upload the file to YT under private, and send a link to the Admiral. This may be shared with others who had wanted to listen into the meeting.
----------
Thanks for reading up until here, I hope this wasn't a total waste of your time.

Are you holding a meeting soon?
I'd like to help, PM me if you are holding one and what it is about.
Also, you said you wanted to talk to me about something? Let's talk through PM. |

First of all, epic guide. It should help most people understand what they need to do and how to behave.
@Liberation, no, we dont regulate meetings, we just expect certain behavior. If they can't follow that behavior, we will ask them to please either restrain from misbehaving or to leave. |

@Vader
I think those kinds of meetings would plain and simple be called "Spam" or "Food Fights". |

Would a cheese suit be fine?
If not, I suppose I could afford gold-plated Diamond, or maybe just platinum. |

**Just something I should have mentioned, Sparrow Corp coats are fine, as well.**
