The players don't need mascots and cheerleaders and all that crap The players don't need gear (some wear padded helmets) The players don't need to celebrate and jump about when they score Rugby players are much stronger and harder The rules are more complicated It's harder It's rougher It is watched and played nearly worldwide, and it gives a better reason to support your nation National games get stadium audiences of about 60,000 It's more aesthetically pleasing American Football copied Rugby
These points are not at all ignorant. I have studied points of view from both parties and I have even watched some NFL myself.

The players don't need mascots and cheerleaders and all that crap _____________________________________________________________ They are there to please the crowd The players don't need gear (some wear padded helmets) _______________________________________________________ Deaths happened before they did the helmets and all that. In fact, 17 deaths happened in one year, and deaths still happen in high school. The players don't need to celebrate and jump about when they score _____________________________________________________ Rugby does have celebrations, just not like football does. Rugby players are much stronger and harder _____________________________________ LOL NO! There is like two tons on a football hit usually. The rules are more complicated _______________________________ Wrong here too. They are quite simple compared to it. It's harder __________ Nope. Football requires speed, athleticism, and toughness, and a special skill sometimes. It's rougher ______________ No. More injuries happen in football. It is watched and played nearly worldwide, and it gives a better reason to support your nation _______________________ Doesn't matter. Besides, football is played in Finland, the UK, Japan has a sucessful X-League and has 2 World Cup of American Football championships, and Canada has a silver from it's first ever tournament, losing 52-7 in the gold medal game. National games get stadium audiences of about 60,000 ______________________________________________ National Football League games have the highest average attendance per game. It's more aesthetically pleasing _____________________________ Football is far more organized than rugby. I've watched rugby before, it looked like 50 players just passing it randomly backwards. American Football copied Rugby _____________________________________ No. They are two WAY different sports, idiot. |

french how can you say "randomly throwing the ball about" when you don't actually know the rules of passing in rugby? They can't throw it forward like you do. The offside rules are much stricter in rugby.
