Say I have a hat, shirt graphic, pants graphic, face or package. I'll be making a simple GUI that when I click a arrow, it changes your hat, shirt, pants, face or package. Will this be instantly? Will it take a while to load? Will having it change on a fake character load it faster? Will having it change on the players actual character make it load faster? More the less, what is the fastest way I can get a item to change on a character if there is any delay at all.

Okay so it will take time to load? I assume there is no way to speed it up? About how long?

A few seconds. It depends how fast/slow your computer is.

Would there be a difference in using the players character, or having the camera lock on a fake character?

You're talking about an image, right?
