First off, I'm paintballzombiedude. Just saying. Second, by noob I mean new. Now here we go.
Part 1: The Word 'Noob' Noobs, (New users) are treated with little respect. Basically, for being new. Someone made this word up. Now it is used in hurtful ways.
EVOLUTION OF THE NOOB - Word is created. Word is compared to newb, which is compared to newbie, meaning new. - People call new users noobs. - The word is slightly changed. It now means 'annoying'. - Users abuse the word. Say it when a user does the slightest thing wrong. - People are insulted, creating a bitter rivalry emerging into nasty word choice. - People try to tell others they are merely being called or calling someone new. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Noobs in General My pals in C&G make jokes about new people coming into the forum, as do I. We pretend to act scared and set up turrets and all. It's pretty funny. But some people are scared. They hate new users that much! Due to getting used to the controls they look bad and mess up. It's all like that.
So what does your average community moron do? (Not Forum community, we are the ones with smarts and class :P) The average community moron QQ's and gets the newbie incredibly annoyed.
My suggestion: Help new users instead of getting mad over pixels. Also use the term 'noob' jokingly.
Part 3: The Dark Side of Newbies Most newbs are nice and just want to play. Some of these spawnkill or teamkill nonstop. Thus this gets users to use their insult bombs. This is mainly the only 'Dark Side' of the newbies, except for one more thing.
Some newbies are insulted so much they turn dark. They hate on you for no reason and act rude. Which is how they are treated. This starts cyber-bullying. It gets so bad sometimes that people think or do suicide. My relative did that so I know that it's an awful thing to do and go through.
My suggestion: Don't turn dark. Try to be nice even to those really that stupid. Also, don't spawnkill or teamkill unless you enjoy starting flame wars. Lastly, if you think of suicide please remember that it's not smart and that you would make lots of people sad.
The End.

"Try to be nice even to those really that stupid." Translation: Patience.
"Also, don't spawnkill or teamkill unless you enjoy starting flame wars." There will always be arrogant and irritating brats in Roblox, those who spawn kill in fighting places and destroy your work in building places, those who annoy you for the sole purpose of watching you get angry.
"Lastly, if you think of suicide please remember that it's not smart and that you would make lots of people sad." I have no idea how this came to suicide, but yes, people (usually teens) who kill themselves don't think as much about their families as they do themselves. |

noob = newb = newbie = new person (5 year olds, interested people, [going into real life] babies, immigrants, new businesses, microsoft, apple)
^^logic is confusing, i know.^^ i think the idea here was to get people to stop being absolutely griefish towards "noobs". am i right?

Yes. And to stop the whole crap about insulting and mistreating new users.
Also, so what if the word 'is' wrong? That's a moronic reason to not support.
I'm not saying it's wrong though, mind you. |

the word isn't wrong, usually it's the user at the other end of the chat who is the wrong one. in my opinion if you call someone a noob for one simple mistake then you are, in fact, a noob.

I've learned this from lot's of people electro.
We, the forum community, usually have class. We are also the most intelligant of the community.
There is a rare bunch who are smart but don't forum. Like I said though, it's rare. |
