13 Years after playing this game, I've decided to review it, so let's start with the Pros.
The game has quite a long story, from birth to death and every in game day is always new. Another interesting feature is the Mini game system, which always differs depending on the Era you choose to live (I chose to start in 1998) and these always cost from 10 of the in game currency that you chose to 60 and the Religion feature, that lets you choose out of over 100 Religion's and then you worship that/those Gods. However the most interesting feature of this game is the unique First Person Free roam, that lets you go anywhere if you have enough energy which recharges quickly or slowly depending on your characters age and physical ability, however there are ways of transport that won't cost you energy but cause this games major Flaw, the Loading Times.
The loading times are usually incredibly long and can last up to 24 Hours depending on where your travelling, this can cause major frustration if you just want to play quickly before you do something else. Another is the Downloadable Content, it's mostly free however you always have to be a certain In game age to use it for example the baby pack, that you have to of played for at least 18 years to use, and then before you can use it you have to wait 9 In-Game months before you can see this DLC's full use, and another expansion sees you Training in a military compound and then fighting with guns, however this gives you a lot of your in game currency.
To sum it up, this game has plenty of good reasons and will keep you hooked for years, especially with all the DLC being released constantly.
Ratings: Graphics: 10/10 These are the most realistic Graphics in a game Gameplay: 8/10: There is always something to do but it can get a bit repetitive. Soundtrack: 7/10: A lot of music ranges to choose from but they get old quickly.
Overall: 9.5/10. |

Don't forget that you can buy DLC so you can go to space, or even the moon!
I like how there's games within this game so if you're bored, you don't even need to quit, you just walk over to a terminal, and play whatever you want. |

Sims are stupider than us.
They don't even know how to climb over things. |

@Markster
Some of the bugs are amazingly funny though, like the one that makes people shout stuff for no reason. |

Real life has a problem that you did not point out.
It is quite hard to tell it apart from how your life actually is, and, due to the mental hookup, it isn't obvious.
Thing is, you are inside the game "Real Life" right now. |
