| Classical Music is more colorful. I prefer it over the names you listed. |

| If you're talking about traditional classical music (Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, etc), I really can't get into the genre. It's not that I don't like that style of music, but to me it's just... bland. |

Why are you even comparing the two?
They are two completely different types of music and should never be compared.
I enjoy the works of Mozart, Bach and Beethoven and i also enjoy modern music.

British Rap is my favourite. It mainly is Singing with rap linked, not just rap. And less swearing.
Perfect examples: Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Wretch 32, N Dubz, Rizzle Kicks, Chipmunk and my favourites Professor Green and Ed Sheeran. |

"Classical music is pretty, but then it gets boring eventually. "
Sounds like the stereotypical reaction from a person with only cursory knowledge of the genre. |

@fisheye, we've all heard classical music. I play classical music for piano. I've gone to concerts with my mom.
It goes on forever. It's repetitive. It's impressive, but boring. In my personal opinion. |

If you think the repetition in classical music is bad, then I don't see how you aren't bothered by repetition in something like metal? The opinion sounds more knowledgeable if it actually says, "I just like "x" genre better" and leave it at that than trying to argue with ideas of repetition.
Finally, I don't see how the only adjective you can come up with for classical is "beautiful" or "pretty". This is a genre that can absolutely nail feelings of sadness and terror among other things. It makes it seem like you have narrow emotional receptor for this genre, which is fine I guess, but more than goes to show your missing something here. |

@thefaildude
Who says he has to be trolling? Mozart and most other classical composers are better than just about every artist these days.
Most classical composers are way better than new-age pop composers. To compose pop music consists of repeating a synth base drum beat over and over again, and synth waves, and using an auto-tune to make your voice sound good. |

It's incredibly hard to actually prove this wild claim (if it is possible at all) and probably not worth your time. Just saying... |
