(The following has scared me to death and made me loose three hours of my life.) (I was using my own laptop.)
I wanted to see if gametest.roblox.com was online so I type in gametest.roblox.com and instead I get sent to a (hopefully) fake Virus Detector website. The website said I had a whole bunch of Trojans. So then I used my Norton and did a scan that took three hours! The summary said I only had five tracking cookies so I resetted my laptop. If this a gametest.roblox.com fault, fix it please. |

If this happend, you visited gametest.roblox.com, then your virus scanner(norton 360) took 3hours. Why:If you took your laptop to a place that fixes computers, please note that whatever place you go to is public so a C++ Hacker could give viruses to the website. And if you have a windows 7 computer than go to Menu>Control Panel>Windows Firewall and make sure its on. Then if its on go to the Network bar(by the time and date) and Click it, click Open Network and Sharing Center and then close it.If this keeps happening, please contact info@roblox.com |

Guys.....Don't doubt him...I think he's right! Okay so I have this GREAT Virus Software thingy called McAffe SecurityCenter (yes u have to pay.) So I typed in Gametest.Roblox.com and It showed a green bubble with an arrow next to it, which means its good (Green means good, Yellow mean use with caution, and Red mean Risk to your computer) So I clicked on the little green bubble next to the website name and it brought me to McAfee SiteAdvisor Software (it tells you the dish with the website) And this is the user reviews: This site it good: 55 people This site spams: 3 people Adware, spyware, or viruses: 11 people Browser exploit: 4 people Excessive Popups: 1 person Phishing or other scams: 4 people Bad Shopping Experience: 2 people
As you can see this site is potentially harmfull, So I think you should just use caution while using it. :D
Add me!!!!!
Have a Nice Day, Galchick |

I know, I had the same thing and i was scared to death too.
Roblox Ads let tracking cookies in so the only way to play safely is to buy buildersclub... I know right? I dont like how roblox needs to have this virus but thats how they make money.
I dont really like roblox anymore.

Yeah, if you spelled the link correctly, the fake virus alert probably came from an OFFSITE ad. Which is why I'm so glad they're trying to make Roblox launchable from vanilla Firefox. Because as soon as they get it working correctly and implemented in the main site, I'm turning off IE Tab. Firefox plugins don't work on pages being run through the Internet Explorer engine (which is what IE Tab does), so no AdBlock Plus to stop that from happening. It won't block same-domain stuff though, so Roblox User Ads will still work, but offsite ones (like from Google Adsense, which iirc is Roblox's external ad provider) won't even load. >:D
You can even make new blocking rules for AdBlock, to make them block other things. My personal favorites are blocking Facebook Connect (which also tracks your entire browsing history!) and blog network banners. I think you can even block an entire domain... |

| you probably had either viruses from another tab that you opened, or you went to the wrong website. =) |

"Seriously? If you ever visit ANY website that says you have a virus, its a lie." Unless they put it on your computer before they tell you.
As to the original post: It's never happened to me, but many people say that anything.roblox.com gives them popups. This might be the cause of a serversided cookie (a browser exploit). I can only say: Careful with the popups. Close them immediately, and regularily run a system check. |

| This happened to me on normal ROBLOX once. I think it may be getting hacked. When I saw the screen I clicked "Fix Now" I found out this was fake since Norton told me an attack had been blocked. I think ROBLOX needs to look out for these. |
