I've got this so far: Get a circuit board for a computer, save the C++ code onto it, enable the board to compile pictures for video and audio, take the audio and video jacks then sync and solder them into the board, into the TV.
Not really sure. I'm really good with C++ and computer science, so I'm pretty sure I'm up to the task.

I think that you are really far off. If you want to just run C++ code then you may as well just use a computer to run the code, no need to go and do anything special. As for your own console, that will take a lot more than just knowing coding. You must also know how the hardware works. Even when you know that you need to do is to have a robot that can actually build yourself a circuit board. You will need to come up with some sort of processor and RAM and Hard Drive and a way to control it.

Oh do I now? What do you want me to say, that you could just go out and build your own console? You can't! You can make your own game, sure, but consoles take years of development and can't just be made.

"You can't" You have no proof. 'Years'? I followed a tutorial on here, made it in about an hour.

That is not making YOUR own game console. You are BUYING a pre-built console, and the writing your own games for it.

@slayer Never said it was 'my own'. It just proves it can be made in a less timeframe. If you already KNOW EXACTLY what you're going to do without any errors, it can be easily made.

And it's not prebuilt, either, you assemble it yourself.

@slayer Oh man, you're not getting the point. My point is if you have absolutely everything planned out, you can make it in a feww hourss.
