| The Sun published a story today that people have been phishing and therefore getting the credit card details of gamers. These people befriended the victims to tempt them into giving out their details, or directed them to fake websites giving free microsoft points, making gamers put in their details for the fraud scam. The scammers then took the details and made small withdrawls from the cards, making them impossible to spot. Many gamers in 50 countries have lost $100 EACH, whereas some lost $200! The scammers have not yet been identified. So please BE CAREFUL ON XBOX LIVE FOR A WHILE |

"CHECKYOURCARDS"
The scammers were clever. They knew that if they took a large sum out of the card quickly, then they would be found out easily.
So they took out very small amounts to make themselves undetectable |

"It's their fault for giving out their personal info"
As I said before, these scammers became very close "friends" to their victims and also told them about free microsoft points websites
The websites were fakes to get people to submit details
These scammers are clever...

And it was their own fault for going to those websites and giving out their info.
This is why we should think, before we act. |

The websites were very very good. They are professional looking and seemed just about 100% genuine.
That's how more than 100,000 people around the world are caught up in fake tax returns sites every year |
