| They are always seeming to put animal welfare as more important than human welfare. It is a stupid thing. |

| Ahahaha, that is definite one of the more stupid things I have heard of them saying. They are just trying to be serious and making animal seem better than all the people, I dont' think that they understand that nobody is ever taking them seriously. If anything, they have damaging their own cause. Its is quite funny to watch them to be honest. :P |

| I'm a vegetarian. But I would never force that on anyone or even argue for it. |

"Humans are naturally omnivores. If we were to stop eating meat, it would disrupt the food chain and majorly mess up the entire ecosystem. It would result in the extinction of hundreds of animal and plant species around the world, including, eventually, the Human race. PETA are mindless idiots who know nothing about biology and why eating meat is absolutely essential for the survival of life on Earth."
If I recall correctly, the meat industry produces more carbon dioxide than all the combustion and jet engines on Earth combined, uses and usually pollutes in the process about as much water as all humans combined, for every acre of land dedicated to beef production you could produce around 160 times as much potatoes, and also, it takes about 200 times more water to produce a pound of meat than a pound of potatoes.
Meat is not a necessity to human life, it's a luxury, at least in this country at this age. |

Not to be so blunt, but saying that humankind would go extinct without meat is just plain ignorant. I can respect carnivores, up until they get all defensive just because of the existence of vegetarians. Although I do agree PETA goes too far, they have some decent points mixed in with all the crazy. |

"If humans depend too much on crops, it results in over-cultivation, the depletion of soil, and ultimately desertification. That's exactly what happened in the 'Dust Bowl' - a terrible disaster for thousands of people. Crop rotation and pastoral rotation is essential for sustainable farming."
What exactly do you think cows eat? |

| Cows eat crops, and they eat helluva lot more than we do, 85% of all topsoil lost in the US to date was used for raising livestock. |
