"There is no racism [on the field], but maybe there is a word or gesture that is not correct" - Sepp Blatter, President of FIFA.
Is this guy serious?! I mean, I know he is old but he must also be delusional.
At this time, 2 cases of Racisim are being sorted out in England alone by the FA (John Terry supposedly was racist towards Anton Ferdinand, brother of famous Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, in a Chelsea VS QPR game and also Liverpools Suarez was supposedly made a racial comment to Manchester Uniteds Patrice Evra in the Man United VS Liverpool derby match which ended 1-1)
Racisim is strive in football, but should not be tolorated if football wishes to grow even more into countries such as India.
Blatter told CNN. "The one affected by this should say this is a game and shake hands."
The Swiss later added: "My comments have been misunderstood. What I wanted to express is that, as football players, during a match, you have 'battles' with your opponents, and sometimes things are done which are wrong."
"But, normally, at the end of the match, you apologise to your opponent if you had a confrontation during the match, you shake hands, and when the game is over, it is over."
If only it was that easy.
I suggest Sepp Blatter steps down as President of FIFA as he has made some BIG mistakes on what he has said about women wearing 'tighter shorts to make the female game more attractive' and also when John Terry was stripped of the England captaincy in 2010 following an alleged affair, Blatter suggested the player would be "applauded" in Latin countries and some more that I am not allowed to post on ROBLOX.
SEPP BLATTER, STEP DOWN! |
