So we're learning how to program these robot things in my Engineering class. This is how today went:
Teacher: Today we're going to learn RobotC, which is our programming language for making our robots work through this... *spaces off during a long discussion of RobotC and how it's amazing*
Nerdy Kid: And what language does it come from?
Teacher: RobotC is a branch of the C+ language (first facepalm of the day)
Nerdy Kid: Oh, I know that! (second facepalm)
Teacher: So first we're going to learn using this [really big] book. It has everything you need to know.
*skims through* Contents: If, then statements, variables, functions, timers, built-in functions, whitespace, comments, boolean logic
Teacher: Our first topic will be if-else statements (I swear, it says this IN THE BOOK). If-else statements run the code if something is true and if its not the do what's after else.
Kids: WAT
Teacher: I know it's hard, just bear with me. So first, drag and drop the if-else statement from the list on the left into the text editor on the right. --[[Yes, it's a drag and drop programming language]]
Kid: Where do I put the else at (the else is already preset below if and all the brackets are in place for you)
Teacher: Below if. Now after if in the parentheses we type "forward = true". Then in the brackets we type "speed = 50"
*kid types 'speed equals fifty' (more facepalm)*
Teacher: Now after else in the brackets we type "speed = 0"
The remainder of our hour and a half long class was spent debugging our 3 line code. Errors include literally typing 'equals', kids adding their own brackets, kids not finding forward = true on the drag and drop menu, kids not finding speed = 50 on the drag and drop menu, kids typing things after everything, etc.

@IHeroyouZero
Who made you a mini-mod. We frown upon those here and therefore shun you. If you stay, you will be cooked at McScripters and served as a warm, greasy meal |

| Except this isn't spam. It's about programming which, within reason, Sorcus will accept. |

| You are criticizing the teacher of your class and trying to flaunt the fact that he knows nothing. Yup, that's legit programming discussion. |

Error: Your teacher is stupid. Please consider hiring a new teacher. Thank you, have a nice day! :)
That'll work :P Time to bypass the multiple access locks on changing ANYTHING on the computer. |

@aboy
replace internet explorer's shortcut on your teacher's computer to a program that puts a picture of human feces as the backgroud. |

| The sub we had the class before told us that our teacher had weird background images already. Like nerdy things. Like minecwaft. And memes. Strange for a 40 year old man... |
