Using a hopperbin.
What is a hopperbin anyway? It's a silly word. |

| Back on topic: Oysi, put the tool in workspace, and then put it into the character. Roblox did that last update just for lulz. |

| That should work. Are you parenting a cloned tool to the character? If so, just parent the original and keep the clone back instead. Otherwise, I'm not understanding the error. |

I see-- that could have a similar effect. I'm assuming you're creating the tool via normal script then. Basically the problem will be that the onEquipped function might not run the first time, because you are causing the tool's script to get replicated over to the client's computer right when you are expecting the .Equipped event to be fired. If you do something more like:
create tool connect equipped parent to something player-side parent to character
then it should work... I would guess even adding like a wait(1) after parent to workspace would work, and might be easier. If those don't work, send me a link to a level where it's happening in? |

| I'm having a similar problem, however it seems to work fine on an online server environment. |

| Yeah I have noticed that too. Although this isn't much of a problem as long as the mouse does not become inactive online as well. To be able to test with ease just don't remove the tool. It shouldn't really matter offline anyways since it is just you. |

As everyone, I have the same problem. I have found, that autoselection is now impossible with the removal of the tool.
So, I asked HotTroth over here for some help. He told me that he had auto selection too, so I looked at his UFO script. (Try inserting it with the insert tool). It uses RobloxBuildTools, and it DOES NOT remove the tool, but it's a ROBLOX build tool, can can't be disselected without another tool. But your arm is in a awkward position, so you have to modify the animation script, so you have to rewrite the motor6D part, since I'm going to be using Pseudo tools. |
