| Grammar, grammar is something you don't have my friend. It is spelling, puncuation, and capitalization. I am using grammar right now by putting capital letter at beginning of my sentence and putting a period, or puncuation mark at the end of my sentence. I also put a comma infront of "or" which is also correct grammar. |

You're using grammar. Often, people will get grammar mixed with spelling, even though they're completely different.
Spelling is like this: I went to the Spelling Bee earlier today. I wnt two te Speling Be erlyr 2day.
Note that both of those sentences have correct grammar, but the second one is spelled incorrectly.
Now, grammar: Let's Let's eat. The first one is a sentence fragment, since it doesn't have a verb. The second one is a full sentence - It has a subject, the "Let's," and it has a verb, which is "eat."
**What is grammar?** Grammar is the way a sentence is formed. A few very basic rules are that the first letter of any sentence is capitalized, the proper nouns are capitalized, and all sentences need either a period, exclamation point, or question mark at the end. Most common are periods, used with normal sentences. Question marks are used for questions (For example, "What is the date?"), and exclamation points are used for yelling something or to show emphasis on the sentence (Example, "I have a cookie!").
**What is spelling?** Spelling is how each word in a specific language is written. Incorrect spelling could be from just using the incorrect letters (For example, "wut" instead of "what"), or using incorrect forms of the word (For example, "Two" instead of "to" in "What are you up to?"). |
