It was some sorta warioware game
the intvalue system was so messy it's practically impossible to add/edit his existing places |

Depends on what you are trying to achieve here. If its making games which are fun, AlexNewtron's way is the probably the best, until you can get better and better at making games where you can achieve good games with good enough scripts. Eventually you will get better, a lot better. But if you care about bragging rights on who made which script faster on the forums, then its not the way to go. You won't have anything worthwhile to show either. But, hey, who cares? You can brag about your coding efficiency.

Its not to hard, I can get a decent game done in about 7 hours, efficient to. Then I have about 14 hours worth of testing, then another 7 hours fixing, making more efficient and so on.
As long as you focus on the logic and the concept, its rather easy. |

A good exercise is to think up a simple idea (i.e. a game where you shoot people) and then not add any innovative features to the concept -- just get it done.
When I made my game "A Game of Guns," it wasn't the prettiest coding, and it wasn't built on top of a fancy game engine (or one at all for that matter) but it was fun and only took an hour of work to make. That allowed me to focus on balancing, and making it truly fun. |

@1waffle1 Japanese do commit suicide. Look at man rides down elevator shaft. He rammed a elevator with his hover round and fell through the doors because the japanese elevators are cheap. |
