@Devil, Boo hoo, listening to pop or rap for a few minutes isn't a big deal, in fact, maybe it will give you a chance of spreading your music horizon. Quit being so ignorant. It's not like they have time to play music from every genre.

Listen to music you hate for two hours in a row. You'll understand, even if you don't admit it. Have you ever even considered that not everyone is a comformal like you? Do you even /know/ what ignorant means?

Gym isn't two hours long. And you'll survive.

>You'll understand, even if you don't admit it.

No, you're just pissy.

> Have you ever even considered that not everyone is a comformal like you?

Quit trying to be a "rebel" or "Nonconformist", it just makes you look stupid. And I never said that I liked any of the stuff they play or "Conformed" to it. Go read a dictionary.

>Do you even /know/ what ignorant means?

Someone who is stupid OR is unwilling to learn something.

Have you ever considered that maybe we have to listen in more than one class sometimes? Derp.

Sure I am.

I never said that I am a rebel.

Good, now use it in a proper context next time, MMK?
I'm done on M.T. for tonight, troll you all tommorow.

No you don't. There aren't a bunch of classes where you just listen to music straight. And I love how you get at me for assuming things, then you get mad when I don't assume things.

>I never said that I am a rebel.

But you're trying to be one.

>Good, now use it in a proper context next time, MMK?

Proper context? You do realize what I said was very understandable.
I hope you're trolling, because no one can be that stupid.

Unless you're gary.

Devil. If it's that big of a deal, grab a mp3 and some earphones.

It's not like Pop/Rap is going to kill you.

..... and another forum war is born.

ummm, pop today is much more innapropriate to metal. I mean, I hear at the dances and when we excersice in gym, 'Last Friday Night' and 'Party Rock' (but thats not so bad)

@Creator of forum post

Wow. You are very ignorant.

Im sticking it with the 80's, like mah parents. Hall and Oats, A Tribe Called Quest, Metalica, and some more modern like: LFMAO, and AWOLNATION, some of LINKIN PARK, and Weird Al.

Metal/Hard Rock is appropriate for kids as long it doesn't have cuss words or innuendo.

So you are saying Lil Wayne talking about all kinds of bad drugs and other things I can't say on here is worse than a Metal or Rock band singer saying a cuss word maybe about once in a song? -.-
Plus Rock and Metal has soul to it.
Rap and hip hop is fun sometimes but it has no soul.

No, you are not forced to listen to it. And pop and rap isn't "crap". You say to quit being "conformal" while all the while you are too. You are the close minded fool type I suppose. Trying to be cool by saying you don't like what everyone else likes. You probably like some of the songs they play, and refuse to admit it in hopes you will be original. Well it doesn't work. Your attempt to be original fails due to the fact that there are a lot of people out there just like you.

Ah, so I suppose I can go elsewhere whilst gym is in session?
Who, exactly, am I conforming to? I don't hate many people, I am not particularly rebbelious, and I am in all gifted AP classes. I don't seem like I'm conforming to any standards, do I?

You can block it out. Unless you are too stupid to do even that.

You are conforming to the people that hate all rap and pop and generalize the entire genre.

I do block it out. Does that make it any less retarded?

I admit that most popular(ish) rap/pop haters are every bit as conformist as the others, but I'm not.

Screw "appropriate". No one cares, look at all these kids listening to Eminem. I listen to whatever the hell I want.

Roblo, I agree, but beyond that, Disturbed and other bands are sure as hell more appropriate than that rap/pop crap.
