| Although, doesn't this mean their education sucks? Because normally a more educated workforce goes into services. |

| Its complex. Germany was late to the industrial race, and during the 1930s, its industry boomed under fascism. Then, after the war, the Eastern side was under USSR control, so we see big industrial creation there. As for West Germany, I guess it just has to go with the automobile industry surviving the war, which created good profits for Germany post-war. |
