| I doubt it. Israel is under the US's leash. If Ron Paul gets elected, Israel will be able to due what it wants, when it wants with its enemies. And I will be happy. Israel has the means to destroy the IROGC puppet regime, but the only way it can do that is if they annex the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. |

If Ron Paul gets elected I would not want to be an ally of the USA. - Why?
Allowing Israel to do their own thing is what we want. American involvement in Israeli affairs has held them back.
Secondly, most of the US's allies today are perfectly able to defend themselves and in relatively safe areas.
Thirdly, the only ones that will be worried or protest are those that aren't our allies.
Ya know, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, NTC, etc. |

Turkey has been attacking Europe and America in the diplomatic arena with its new PM.
If the NTC was a US ally, it wouldn't of disposed of our ally. |

War in Iran seems the next step to me. I might possibly get to fight in this war!

Its more likely now ever since that assassination plot, as well as the IROGCs plot to overthrow Ahmendinejad and install a juanta. |

| Eventually there might be a war. But really, what can Iran do if Israel attacked it? Its air force sucks, its navy sucks, its army sucks. |

I'm not particularly worried. What is Iran gonna do, realistically? - Disrupt international trade and oil supplies in the Gulf. We jumped a dollar of gas with the whole threat of the Suez closing and oil distruption in Libya, imagine what would happen once Iraqi, Quatari, Baharanian, UAE and Kuwaiti oil fields catch ablaze, oil tankers sunk, oil rigs bombed out. Do not think for a moment the US would have instant command and control of the Gulf. For a brief moment in time, we would see Iranian naval supremacy if their admirals use their fabled missile boat wolfpack doctrine to overload missile defense systems on boats, leading to the US 5th fleet taking heavy damage. For about 4 days, we would see complete and total supremacy of the Persian gulf by Iran, which would lead to anything oil related tanking a plunge. It would be total war. |

Their ground force is pretty decent compared to most of the military forces in the region. |

| Iran's navy is very weak... they do not have the capability to control the Persian Gulf for any amount of time. We have an entire fleet in Qatar, remember. |

Missile attacks can destroy a fleet.
Think of it like this...Iran would likely make the first strike. It would be a Pearl Harbor all over again. Mind you, Iran has a massive missile industry, some of which can be sent underwater.
Iran is scary when you see what they are making at this moment in time.
I believe the US's strong arm supercarriers, only two are in the Gulf. |

| Iran would not make the first strike. The US navy would be on high alert upon hearing of an Israeli strike. Israel would give the US a heads up a few hours before it happens. |

You never know.
The US is actually cutting back on the 5th fleet since the end of the occupation of Iraq, and with the pull out of Afghanistan, it has also shown signs of cutting back. Like I said, opening day would be a nightmare for the US navy. Iran would have enough time to destroy a good deal of the Gulf's oil production.
I just hope I am part of the German contingent that leads the assault into Tehran. |

| Ah come one... we spend more on one aircraft carrier than Iran does on their entire defense budget. |
