Okay. I KNOW this has been suggested before. But the threads are ALWAYS dying out. So I will re-post this. tl;dr at bottom.
There's been a lot of debating about whether this 'In-game wardrobe' should be a GUI or an actual wardrobe that others can see. So I want YOU to decide.
GUI Wardrobe -----------------
When you click on Menu, a button would appear (similar to Reset Character) that says 'Change Character.' A GUI would appear, similar to the screen when you change your character on the website.
Actual Wardrobe -------------------
It's pretty much the same as the GUI wardrobe, but, when you go to click 'Change Character', A little wardrobe OR dressing room would appear and a GUI would come up again. (So basically, it IS the same as the GUI version, except you go into a wardrobe/dressing room.)
So. Why should you support this?
Well, it saves time. Especially considering you have to go to My Roblox > Character > Change your clothes > Reset. I mean, it doesn't particuarly matter to most of us. But for RPers and stuff, it IS annoying.
TL;DR VERSION BELOW -------------------------- You can either have a GUI version, or a visual wardrobe, (that others can see.) The button to access the wardrobe/GUI would be in the Menu. -------------------------- TL;DR VERSION ABOVE
If you support, yay! If you don't support, tell me why. |

| Pretty cool, but ROBLOX games would have to auto-update its players. |

No. Then to get into a game, you need to load everyones wardrobe.
-ROBLOX, some of us aren't kids. Don't promise things that you cant do. Lying is a short term fix for a long term issue. |

Surely it wouldn't cost THAT much lag, it's only a few pictures, and instead of loading a persons WHOLE inventory at once, it'd probably be better just to load each page as you turn to it.
GUI vs Visible Wardrobe. Which do you think is better? |

@Rose1240
Complete win. ;D
I love to read threads that use correct grammar. It's so much easier to comprehend what the author is trying to tell you. :P
As for my opinion on the whole... honestly, I would say "no". Why? Well, to actually "change" your clothing would mean to instantly change all the property values. I mean, had you ever had a script that changed roughly... thirty values? It lags for a few seconds, then resumes. Imagine if EVERYONE did that! It would be a total hectic nightmare, would you not agree?
Other than that, it seems okay. :3

I agree with virtual about the lag, but it feels kind of strange to shrink the game, mess with the menus, and be forced to give yourself a wipeout just to change into your group uniform before a raid. (that's just an example)

@Virtual
Well, you ARE right. I don't know about all these 'property value' stuff, but you DO have a point. But really, it's like pasting 'Clothing' on a statue or avatar like you would if you were in Roblox Studio. It doesn't cost THAT much lag. (Unless you're on a slow computer, of course.)
Maybe my argument above is invalid, but I doubt we'd have 30 people all in the closet at once. Of course, I've seen that they want to make private servers/Mega servers have a max 100 people in them. That might be a little painful, but, we don't know what the future holds. I mean, they could implement it, then change their minds and take it away.
"No undoing updates."
The above statement is a lie. I've seen dozens of updates undone, like saving in-game on a multiplayer server.
Enough of that. Anyway, they've done MUCH laggier updates. Surely it won't cost THAT much lag just to open up a GUI.
**Yes or no?** Your clothes would be placed on you AFTER you've clicked done. Select all the clothes you want to wear, then click this 'Done' button on the bottom right corner of the GUI. It'd change your clothes and place you back into the game. *NO WIPEOUTS INCLUDED*
@TheAsassin
Yeah, I nearly screamed when I saw my WO's today. That's another reason to support this. My WO's are at 15,306. Blame all the clothes changing and RPing. ._. |

Eh, all too true that thirty people aren't going to shove themselves in a luxurious flying closet, though I just hope it works out if this IS implemented. ;D

Actually, "No undoing updates." was originally on the WNTS (What Not To Suggest, removed awhile back but we still refer to it), though since it's down it's "technically" invalid.
