If roblox was limitless(no lag ever at all), The Conquerors would have....

-Pathfinding. You select your units, tell them where you want them, and they find the shortest path to the destination and take it.
-Everything animated. From the bullets firing from Commando's on Soldiers, to the wheels on a Tank. Anything that should move, will move.
-Up to 120 units on the field. Any amount of buildings.
-Super large maps that would take a long time to move an army in(not because of lag(there is none)) but because of the maps sheer size
-Details. If a mine explodes, units near it will be thrown, and the ground/cliff will be burned.
-12 teams per map, and you can have 3 allys.
-Raycasting. If there is a wall, or a cliff blocking you, your units will move around it to get a clear view to shoot the enemy.
-Sounds. Everytime you select a building or unit, it plays a short sound, to show it's been selected. Also when the units are attacking, or getting hit, you can hear it happening.
Fog of War. In RTS games, it's a 'shadow' placed over the map that has none of your buildings/units near it, so you can't tell if someone is there or not.

Well, that'd be epic. Sadly, ROBLOX is becoming corrupt, noobs running amuck in larger numbers. More OD'ers than I've ever seen, Nearly 6 guests at most games. Is this really what ROBLOX has become? There were simpler times than this.

To bad they wont xD, its easily possible if they ACTUALLY TRIED. they could just use a new game engine.

That would be amazing very close to playing a real rts game. Sadly that may never happen due to the limits of robloxians places.

AI for what? No fun against computer.
Pathfinding is possible, but a crude, nonefficient version is no good either.

Well, we could try moving our closest towards the limit, if not even reaching it. we can think of another way to make the same thing happen.

i was in a match and some guy knew a trick to have no or at least way less lag.he didnt tell me but do you know.i knew it worked cause everyone else was slow and he had no problems.

p.s. love the game except for lag

It's not the algorithm for pathfinding that is the problem, its all the units that would constantly be using it, the map's 3Dness, and collision with other units. If you wall off an area with units, how can I tell if those units will still be there by the time I get to the other side? What if they are moving?

Good Point, but if you were to do some clever bit of scripting by using a object as a fixed point. You would be pretty clever as i have absolutely no idea what im talking about... But if the units could move surely you could fix them by using a transparent non cancollide object?
