I divided infinity by infinity, and this is what I got:
-1.#IND |

First "Infinity" is not a number, It just means that numbers go on forever (jeesh, what are teachers doing?), and Second it is probably a formula.

You can put infinity in a numerical form
1/0 |

"You can put infinity in a numerical form
1/0"
That's not infinity, that's undefined. You can find a thread talking about the difference on the Scripters forum.
I think that -1.#IND means indefinite, which is probably just another way to say undefined. Don't quote me on that, though. |

@crazy That's what teachers tell you for the sake of simplicity. No matter how many times you put 0 into 1, you can never actually reach 1, so it's infinity. |

4.525341234234/4.525341234234 =1 |

No no no no,
A number can go on forever, (pi!), and its not infinite...
Infinity is more than any number you can think of technically. Or the limit. Its above the limit of how much you can think of.
Lets say it starts as '1>' ish...
I think of 7. Infinity becomes 8> sorta... So that means its higher than any number..
So 1/0 = undefined, NOT infinity...
We call it undefined for what you said, blockoo, simplicity, but its also what the answer is. I guess you could call it infinity, but when making a code you don't just say 1/0 to say infinity, its undefined for simplicity, for code!
Roblox the limit is very high, but thats where we've declared infinite, or if your calcular has errors on it, its declared its own lowest infinity. However to humans, we have to say higher than any number we can think of. |

∞ * 0 = x
Any value of x will work by the true statement x / 0 = ∞ |

" Now, let's prove 1/0 equals something other than undefined, nullify, or error (E).
y = 1 — 0
Step 1: Replace 0 with the axiom:
y = 1 ——— (1 / ∞)
Step 2: Solve this fraction. Since 1/(1/2)=2 and 1/(1/10)=10 etc..., then:
y = ∞
Therefore, this is true:
1 — 0 = ∞
Each time that I look at this equation, I get a mild headache. I think some of my brain cells are exploding. "
