If it were summer vacation, I would be making 100 posts a day, and I would've had like 10,000 posts. :P
I barely make 40 to 50 posts now.
WATCH OUT UNEEK!
Btw, got accepted for debate in Real life, how is the speech?
Man is the architect of his own destiny
It is fact that destiny of man depends on his own self. Most of the people are fatalistic, who believe in external factors in shaping there fortune. Actually it is the man himself who makes his destiny; destiny does not make the man.
The four ingredients of success are quite simple. First of all, one must identify his talent, everyone can not do everything, but someone can do something. The second thing to discover is to find resources or help for achieving his or her goals. The third important thing is to work with consistency, with pride, and with honor. Last but not least success depends on “luck”; luck is not in anybody’s control. In a broader context, it means success depends upon one’s own efforts and destiny.
As a wise man, once said:
“Luck favors the brave.”
For instance let’s take Abraham Lincoln. He used to study beneath a street light, because he didn’t have a light at home. He defied all odds, and became one of the most known people in the world.
Another example, is Albert Einstein, he was regarded as a failure in his school by his teachers. They kicked him out of class exclaiming “You will never become anything in life!” After all that negativity he managed to be a very successful and praised scientist.
There is a class of men who think that everything is pre-determined in life and, however much you may try, you cannot get out of that groove. Although there is another school of opinion, that is more reasonable in this age of science, that a man has powers and parts to build his own career.
Thus it is clear that man is the architect of his own destiny. There are thousands of other examples, such as Karl Max, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Christopher Columbus, etc.
