Survival 303 Reverted (Reverted not by davidii2) Game by:Penguin8115 Series:survival island Guide by:Julioceaser2921
Basics
1. Foraging -
Foraging is the basic tool that is used to pick stuff up. When you start the game resources like trees and bushes are mostly locked. This is because they haven't been unlocked yet, to do that you forage it and then you can grab it. Once you forage something, it goes to your backpack.
======================================================== 2. Backpack -
The backpack tool is where everything you foraged goes to. Once in the backpack tool, your items are stored out of game until put into game by placing them on the ground using the tool. If theres something you need to keep from being stolen, put it in your backpack until you need it. To look through the items in the backpack, click the "Next" and "Previous" Buttons that appear under a white box on the left side. Sometimes the backpack breaks and you need to put things down before you and search through your backpack again using the buttons.
======================================================== 3. Eat/Drink -
The Eat/Drink tool is pretty self explanitory. It lets your eat things to fill your health, hunger, and thirst. You can eat raw things like raw fish, but you will get health taken away. It's best if you can cook them if you can. There are certain things that can be cooked and things that cannot. Like apples and berries. The stats given vary on the specific type of food. The health, hunger, and thirst are stats you need to keep up or you will die. So make sure you keep an eye out for it.
======================================================== 4. Crafting -
This is the most complicated part of the game. Crafting is the tool that lets you craft weapons, buildings, and other things. Crafting plays a major part in the game. To use the crafting tool, you need to know the exact order and items needed for something like say a hut. A hut is 2 walls and 1 large leaves. If you put Wall, Large Leaves, Wall it will not work. You need to put it in the correct order to work it. Create Tool button lets you create Buildings and Weapons using tools. The Process button lets you process items, like turn leaves into compost, used for planting, or hide into leather, used for armor. There are numerous recipes and too many to name in 1 forum, so explore, and get recipes by mistake, or by trying.
======================================================== 5. Fireproofing -
Fireproofing is an action you do in game with a bucket. You know how pyro maniacs go set stuff on fire because their just noobs? Well you don't complain to me because it is partially your fault. Fireproofing is when you take a bucket and click on something that is flammable. Flammable means you can set it on fire. Once you click something that is flammable, that object is now fireproof, in other words, can't be set on fire no more. If you click on something that is on fire, the bucket puts the fire out and fireproofs the object. However as all this sounds great, you need water to do this. You get water by getting the bucket tool out, and clicking a water source like from a well, or natural water source.
======================================================== 6. Refining -
Refining is the action of refining metals. Metals like iron and steel are absoulutely useless if not refined. To refine, all you do is place the ores near a fire source, wait until it turns shiny and there you go! Its refined! You can also refine sand, which turns to glass, and clay which turns to brick. Theres many metals that you can refine, so experiment!
======================================================== 7. Farming -
Farming is pretty easy to do in game. It lets you plant stuff like wheat and apples so its portable. First you need compost. It depends what you want to plant. Some plants like berry and flax take small composts. To make Small compost, simply take small leaves and process them. Plants like wheat, corn, and apples take up a lot of space and use Large compost. Large compost is the same as small compost, but dealing with large leaves instead of small leaves. Farming can pretty much help you a lot with a food source problem, but takes time. To plant, select craft, click on the seed(Berry, Apple, etc.) and click on the compost and click Process. Thats how you plant them. Then you wait for them to grow!
======================================================== 8. Cooking -
Cooking is another important part of the game. Cooking is somewhat difficult too, because if you leave food on a fire for too long, it burns and becomes very unhealthy. To cook, get something raw like raw fish, raw meat, or even a rice grain. Then put them near something flammable. Light the flammable object up and wait for the food to turn different colors. Then remove the flaming object by using a bucket or throwing it away. You can also forage the food so its away from fire. Alternatively, you can use a cooking Pot structure which cooks food and refines without burning food.
