| a pound of feathers weighs more because gold and feathers are weighed under different systems and a "pound" is different for each. Gold is measured under a Troy weight system, which has 12 ounces to the pound |

Pounds is a form of measuring weight. :P
botH of them equalling a pound, makes them weigh as much as eachother. |
