That'd revolutionize snipers. And I really want to make a sniper rifle. I'm going to create an awesome fps game on roblox once they add that. |

| You could just put the camera on a certain distance along a ray projected from the gun to simulate it being zoomed in |

@Evarguest
****|****z ****|***** y____x____ ****|***** ****|*****
*=Space |=Wall _=ray y,x=cam position z=sum object
(theres hole in da wall where x is)
Place camera on y, dont see z.
Place camera on x, see z.
With real zooming you see the exact same stuff as without zooming, but zooming takes a small area from that stuff and scales it up so u can see smaller detailz.

If you use an invisible gui and other trickery you can stop them from being able to rotate
It's still not perfect but it will work pretty well |

NO IT WONT *points at my post*
The field of view should not be as wide as normal, the farther you zoom the shallower(i need a better word for this pl0x - opposite of wide?????? i think) the field of view should be.
Else you can see more of the stuff behind corners by zooming to the spot where the corner is than what you would see by looking from your real position. |

What you can do however, is to move the camera closer and add some guis to limit what you can see (the smaller area you are let to see the farther you zoom)
Though that wouldnt be very useful because that way the amount of details you can see just decreases because of the limited amount of pixels on your screen. |

^^^^NVM, the amount of detail you can see stays the same, it wont decrease...
But it still makes zooming useless. |

@Mess:
yh
realistically, all you'd need to do just zoom in on the picture but you can't do that :l |

| Lets use "infra red scopes" so we can raycast a small area of the screen and fill in a small gui screen and say its the scope and the resolution and speed sux becuase it uses infra red tech. |

NU that doesnt let you see more!
Increase in resolution is needed!
