| 80 bucks for the filter, sponsored by BSA. Jerky is expensive yes, but you don't need much of it when you're in the forest and know what to look for |

Pee shaw gnomes, the filter is a reusable and trustworthy piece of equipment, it has lasted me many a trip over the last few years (and ish free)
Now out in the forests of the northwest there is a ton to eat, Oregon berries, pine needles, pine cones, fish, a slew of nuts and anything you can hunt down. |

| Lucky me then, pine needles can be brewed into tea at any given point, pine cones aren't eaten, it's the seeds inside them. A collapsable telescopic fishing rod is what I take with me. It has the ability to change from one foot in length to five feet in one wrist swish |

Now heres the honked man I saw recently: He was soliciting ona sidewalk outside a Costco one of my parents works at. So they decide to observe him for awhile instead of kicking him. He was holding a sign that read: "food or money, anything helps". Directly down the street there is a Micky D's. Some people went out of their way to buy him a big mac or whatever else, some people gave him money. For four hours he tossed his food into the trees behind him and pocketed the money. He then walked away and never came back, leaving all the food randomly tossed around. People can be scum, people can be nice. Hobos are no different. And it does not matter, my point is that it is doable to live free in the city, it's not the best life, but it is one.

It's easy to use and maintain, as aposed to having a break apart rod, the whole thing is together. Make a fire, put a good sized rock in the middle Heat up a small stone, drop it in water Peal back pine cone leaves, walla seeds |
