Meh, I never liked VS much. Probably because I loathed all the time it took to download all the requirements. I prefer IntelliJ IDEA. |

I thought Code::Blocks was great for C++ But unfortunately I cannot configure it properly under windows 7, so none of the templates are present and I can't create a project...
Eclipse is good as well, but again, I have problems with it on my system (I get .dll erros when trying to save/open files in the workspace because I have an AMD64 CPU when the .dll is specifically for IA32)
But IntelliJ works for me, and it has Java/C++/Lua code capabilities (I love the Lua one :3)
So for me: IntelliJ IDEA > C::B || Eclipse > VS
