This would help stop promoting spawnkillers in games. Basically, in most games, your forcefield lasts you about a good five seconds or so, right? And the forcefield is invincible, yes? But what happens when the spawnkiller just waits until the forcefield goes away and kills you? It's as if you never had the forcefield in the first place.
My idea is that your forcefield stays around you UNTIL you step off the spawn, and then for a few precious seconds to get away from any danger there may be. For example, the other day I was in Miked's Paintball. And as soon as it loaded up, my mom called me to go take the trash out. By the time I got back to the game, I had 16 WO's! I'm not the kind of person to brag about their KO's and complain about their WO's, but that's just not fair. If my idea was put to use there, however, I'd be invincible until I step off the spawn, and then for a few precious seconds to either kill the attackers camping at the castle, or to travel down the river for a quicker route away from danger. So, tell me what you thing! Critisism of any kind is welcome.

The only problem is how could you play "Sword Fights on the Spawns?"

It's a commonly said idea, but this being said, even I could easily script it.
For instance, ForceFields currently have a time you set them to, most people leave it to the default, and that's that. Thought you could set the spawn FF to 0, and insert your own. The script would simply be a funciton that while they are touching the spawn, they have the FF, and once they step off of it, or pull out a tool, FF gets deleted, and the script gets deleted from their backpack (You can put scripts in StartGear ya' know)
Of course, I wouldn't want this in every game, which is why it'd be a thing for the community. |
