Eight bit platformer.

Has a major use of a single device.

Most of the game is underground.

I'm planning to have two alternate places that the main character alternates between.

I promise you, the device is really neat. It's a self-propelling grappling hook that can be used to spring yourself throughout the area.

You can also grab items with it.


I'm going to start level design early so it isn't a problem when I can actually make it.

you say it will have eight bits but it will probably end up having a lot of more bits

I'll try not to above 16 bits, that's the highest I could possibly do and still have smooth animations.
