What did you divide by 0? Some apples? Tiles? |

I CAN DIVIDE 0.
0x1 = 0 0x2 = 0 0x3 = 0 0x4 = 0 0x5 = 0 0x6 = 0 0x7 = 0 0x8 = 0
8/0=0 |

DAP'S ARGUMENT IS INVALID.
0*8!=0/8
0/8==INFINITY (I CAN EXPLAIN WHY, I'M JUST TOO LAZY TO ELABORATE ON MY THEORY.) |

"0/8==INFINITY"
0/8 = 0. 8/0, on the other hand, is infinity. |

So if 8/0 is infinity, then we now know how to implode the universe?

0 * 5 = 0
So, logcially,
5 / 0 = 0 |

@Shobobo99
Then we must write this down in history books in hope humanity learns from it but actually ignores it.

0/0 = 5, you mean.
I like this thread. We had it about 50 times a year ago.

History records everything including the fact that people are ignorant of it and tend to repeat themselves.

Yes we did have it about 50 times a year ago... And my argument remains the same. Division by 0 is impossible because you never get any number from it, nor do you get an undefinably high number (infinity) |

Floating-point division by zero is a clearly defined operation resulting in the a value called positive infinity (if the value is positive), negative infinity (if the value is negative), and indefinite or not-a-number (if value is zero).
