"Nonetheless, thank you very much." I say, bowing once more graciously at Veqris. I straighten up, smiling warmly at the boy who was blushing. By his reaction, I assumed he was Toslar. Not able to be entirely certain, I looked between the two boys, not focusing directly on a single one of them. "And thank you Toslar." I say with a little nod of the head before turning towards a raven that had landed on Veqris' claw. I slowly climb onto the back of one hesitantly. I had never ridden a bird of any sort before, and I wasn't sure how to hold on. My insticts told me to grip the feathers for dear life. However, not sure if this would hurt the bird, I settled with wrapping my arms around it's neck. |

Keyde- I sit in the Tavern drinking and thinking. *That lass was headed for Aisilia...She was a sorceress as well, mebbe she can reverse my curse, if I only knew what my last name was...*
I finish my drink and slam the tankard down, perhaps too hard. the clay drinking container shatters on the bar and the barkeep glares at me. I smile sheepishly and snap my fingers. What little elf-magic I had went to work repairing the tankard. |

I clench my eyes shut, clutching onto the feathers. I nuzzle my cheek on the back of the neck of the bird, breathing in deeply. |

-Akris- "Wait! Take me back!" I hollered over the howling winds. The raven apparently heard me, and redirected its attention. |

I remain motionless, tightly clenched onto my raven. I had a moment of thought that I had heard Akris over the piercing wind, but I banished the thought. I kept my face in the feathers of the bird, the harsh winds whistling over my head. |

(Hope you don't mind a little time skip action)
The battle ended. The village of Rovan stood- crippled, yes, - but standing nonetheless. Scraps of buildings scattered the pathways, and small flames still flickered, ambers still glowing. Haggard families either stood motionless or ran around in a dazed panic, maybe searching for their lost loved ones or just in the confusion of the aftermath. I rushed out of the gates and swept up the child {he had wandered in to the forest, not too far}, bringing him back to the village. A sunken-eyed mother ran up and snatched him from me, glaring at me cruelly. I shrugged it off. |

Kota ( Hound )
Staring at the burnt village I smell the burnt smell of fire on metal and families standing in confusion on what to do... I spot a mother snatch a child from someone. Not in the mood to cause pain like my boggart nature persuades me I change to a young thirteen year old boy and talk to the families, trying to encourage them on what to do next. |

{Rain}
I sit on the edge of the fountain and doze off, waiting for the flutist to return.
---
A rhythmic stomping wakens me a few hours later. I wipe off a trail of drool on my cheek and glance up, seeing a crowd of villagers. The flutist is up front, still appearing fresh and energized.
"Ah, they're finally back," I mumble, hopping off of the fountain and walking towards the man. I pause in front of him, and the flutist stops and tilts his head down a bit.
"Yes?" he says. I rub my eyes and blink any remnant of sleep away.
"How'd you do that?" I ask him, signaling all the scorched and seethed objects.
"Oh, that? It's a secret," he replies, grinning.
=.= "Can you tell me?"
"No." The man glances at the stubborn expression on my face and he sighs. "Alright. I guess I could teach you. Are you currently in an apprenticeship?"
I shake my head. Not unless you count Grandpa. The flutist nods. "I will meet you here at sun high tomorrow," he says while patting his soot-covered hair down. Then he turns, waves to the small crowd, and simply walks away. |

The battle had ended. She just went away, in a flash. I looked behind and hurried to the injured. "You okay?" I muttered under my bandanna. "I'm fine." My friend said, tucking his sleeve under the bandages. "We should still get out of here." He said. "Good idea." Came another voice. I helped him up, and we began to run again. |

CS Re-Done [ Thanks Alpha and Carly :D ]
Name: Kota
A.ge: 13
Gender: M
Personality: Ambitious, Kota always tends to see the brighter things in a situation before the consequences. Seeing the overall prize, he tends to get ahead of himself and diving right into a project. He's courageous, and takes it upon himself to never let a splinter of doubt enter his mind. Kota prides himself on his sense of humor; something that not everyone quite understands, but he finds himself to be rather humorous all the same.
Appearance: Naturally a wisp of smoke but can form into other shapes around it. ( ShapeShifter ) He normally takes the form of one of his two more favored images, a brown hound pup and a young boy. While as a pup, he resembles that of an excited wandering mutt. His hair is a deep chocolate brown and is matted slightly around the paws due from walking around so much. His fur has traces of dirt and mud in it from adventuring, but keeps a fairly good sence of hygiene when it comes to keeping his fur clean. His ears are small and fold over, when curious or alarmed, they perk up. Atop his head, he has a tuff of fur that is soft and feathery-like. It's a few shades lighter than that of his fur elsewhere. His snout is short, and his whiskers are uneven. He has fewer whiskers than that of a household dog, seeing that many have been lost while scavaging through small areas; the whiskers getting torn off.
Taking the form of a human, he choses the appearance a.ge of that of a thirteen ye.ar ol.d boy. His hair is cut short, with whisps of hair falling just to his eyebrows. His hair is a dark brown with few lighter streaks throughout that are hardly noticeable. His eyes are rounded, giving off an innocent look to him. His eyes are warm with a deep brown, twinkling with youth. He walks around barefoot, his feet dirtied with dust. He wears a plain cotton t-shirt as well as a pair of old trousers. The trousers are relatively clean despite his feet being so dirty.
Weapon: Anyone in his presence longer than a day will certainly go psychotic.

-Akris- The raven landed and perched on Veqris' shoulder. Toslar was the first to notice my return, and squinted. "What are you doing back here? You need to go back to your home," He stated. "No!" I objected. "I mean... I'd rather come along with you. Where are you headed?" "Ah, Akris, you do realize the risks for such a small creature like you, don't you?" I hesitated, but nodded. "...Very well. You have a brave soul, child. These two boys and Atticus will find pleasure in your presence." "Wait," Toslar spoke. "Aren't you going to come with us, and help us search for Galiron?" I tilted my head. Who was this Galiron? "I would be delighted, and I appreciate your offer, but I have other priorities. However, I, as well as my ravens, will keep our eyes peeled for any signs of your friend. I can travel with you a bit longer, but I will have to depart eventually." A raven ruffled its feathers, evidently pleased to leave the panther's presence. I couldn't blame him, though. The panther made my skin crawl. |

Kota ( Young Boy )
After giving useful advice to the families on where to go most of them still seem to want to stay at there burnt wasteland which was once a village. Annoyed by their loyalty I head off in search of something far less depressing. Kota ventures out near the lush forest where you can hear the animals and insects singing in harmony. Deciding his human form is too dirty from his trip to Rovan he changes shape to his natural wisp of smoke leaving behind a cloud of suet in the air. |

The raven slowly fluttered down, and it was then when I slowly lifted my head. I was back home. Well, not exactly 'home'. I was in the heart of Acedia, which was a bit of a walk from my house; but I didn't mind. I stepped off of the bird, noticing that Akris wasn't around. I frowned, looking back at the bird. I gently pet it's beak before turning away, making my way towards my home.

Kota
The bogagrt getting frustrated by the harsh winds running through his gas-like state changes into a young crow with rough feathers and a squashed beak from un-able being to focus on his shape. He glides over to a nearby tree wanting to search the area for life. His black eyes see a tired fox searching for good for his den and a raven traveling to a group of men/boys.
I launch myself toward the set of three and watch from a grassy area where ravens are being fed. |

(Nu. Just clueless. :P)
-Toslar- I strolled down the trail, the young fairy by the name of Akris resting on my hand. "...issues with my father," Akris was saying. "You and me both," I murmured. I didn't know what was wrong with Akris' father, but I assumed it couldn't compare to my father's state. My father was on the verge of death! That stopped me in my tracks. Pildoor bumped into me from behind and yelped. "What am I doing?..." I thought aloud. Veqris stopped, and turned his head slightly. "Hm?" "What am I doing?" I repeated. "Why did I ever accept this challenge? My father is a sickly paled man, nearly dead! I should be home, helping him! I should be searching for a cure..." "Don't worry, Toslar." Atticus said. "We can find Galiron and save your father." "No!" I objected. "No, we can't! That only occurs in tales! This is reality, Atticus! This is- reality," My voice cracked. A tear stroked my cheek. "My father may be dead by the time I get home..." I then realized Pildoor was sobbing. My words had harmed him deeply. I had scared him into thinking our father would die, but I hadn't intended to. I was just distressed. I was in a tight situation. I had to choose a life to save- Galiron's, or my father's? I couldn't choose! Frustrated, I kicked a stone into some bushes. We were now walking between two vast grasslands, but a few trees and bushes were scattered around them both. |
