De’Kao Lignum ‘The Enchanted Fox’
Jumping out of the concealment of the bush I looked around for any other creatures. All I could hear was the rustling of the leafs and the insects chirping. I gripped my crossbow and loaded another bolt inside just in case. I crawled throughout Genton forest searching for an animal to meal on but eventually I traveled onto the Fairy village Acedia.
I've been to Acedia before, as a pup. My father showed me and taught me to beware the small creatures. 'They are stronger than they look son. Do no mistake these creatures for prey!' I looked around at the creatures, they were small humanoid type of creatures with wings sticking out of their backs. The wings of the fairy's were clear and luminescent but sometimes I saw a moth like wing in the bunch. They had hair of all colors that confused me and some even carried weapons which humored me.
I maneuvered clumsily through the village. Some fairy's cursed at me and raised a fist in anger, others tried attacking my leg with their small weapons. "Ow!" I yelled, after a larger fairy from the group slashed at my leg with an ax. I looked down at my injured leg and blood was leaking from a small cut.
Laying down my crossbow I slashed my paw out at the fairy but all I hit was wind. The fairy dodged my attack and landed the ax on my paw. I cried out from the pain the fairy caused. The fairy's around him laughed but the large fairy showed no emotion.
Feeling humiliated, I grabbed my wooden dagger from the crossbow and swept the fairy with it. The fairy landed on his wing but he got up with a grunt. He looked at me with a fierce look. I barred my fangs at him, trying to scare him off. The fairy managed to fly a few feet off the ground which I thought was impressing due to him having an injured wing. He charged at my foot but I lifted it and he struck the air instead.
I struck down with my dagger at the fairy and caught his wing on my wooden dagger. I pulled it out leaving splinters in his moth-like wing. He yelled and charged once again but this time on the ground running. I lowered down and swept at the ground with my tail causing the dust to swirl around us, blinding the fairy's and the warrior.
I ran through the dust with agility only a fox could show and ran out of Acedia. Hearing yells of pride for the warrior driving the fox out of the village I left them off leaving revenge for another day. |

De’Kao Lignum ‘The Enchanted Fox’
Tired of running I slumped against a tree, holding my wooden dagger in my paw. Cursing, the dagger brought the memory of me leaving behind my crossbow. Why did I not grab it I thought, I seriously do not want to go back there. I'll craft another I said to myself.
I got up and traveled left to Cespar, I could already see the sunlight ahead. I looked back down and noticed my leg wound. I saw the fur around the cut covered in dark red blood. I bent down and picked up a leaf, wiping my bloody fur clean.

De’Kao Lignum ‘The Enchanted Fox’
I arrived with sunlight out ling my shape. I looked up and saw the village Cespar. It had shops and a hotel even. I saw some mysterious cloaked figures walking around. Something told me not to mess with those people. Leaf's began falling from the tree's of Genton forest heading Cespar's way. I saw the wind of Quail guide the leaves making them swirl and glide into a sort of dance. I sat down Indian style mystified by the magic of Quail could perform.

"Galiron..." The mage mused. "Yes, I've heard of him... But I don't know much of him. And I haven't a clue where he may be. But I do know a friend of his - Farra - is upstairs if you'd like to speak with him. He may have the answers you're searching for."
My heart skipped a beat. Farra? Farra was here?! Anger swelled up inside of me. What if Farra had participated in Galiron's abduction? Farra could be responsible for this!
I ignored the mage's further comments, and approached a platform leading over the pit with caution. I glanced down - A bottomless pit with an occasional gust of steam. I took a step; the board creaked. I took another, another creak following.
The mage in which I had been communicating with was now gone, as well as any sign that he'd been there before. |

I focused on the ledge ahead to keep my balance, my arms spread out as well. Step after step, I progressed towards the opposite end of the pit. My steps quickened as I thought of Farra. And to think he was trustworthy! How could he betray Galiron? Galiron was the most respectable Eladorian I'd ever met! Farra was in over his head. First, he'd kidnapped two fairies. And now this? What was he plotting? I hadn't realized my mistep until I had begun to fall. Thoughts of Farra's betrayal had distracted me. Now I was falling into the depth of the gloomy pit. I could already feel a strong wave of heat overwhelming me. I said a quick prayer to Eladora, the king of all Overseers - I stopped falling. Did I die? |

| Shark had entered the Wizard's tower, and was now looking for someone who looked like an above average wizard. |

De’Kao Lignum ‘The Enchanted Fox’
My eyes blinked from the strain of keeping them open for hours on end watching the dance of Quail. I sat up, my muscles hurt as if this was the first time I used them. I slowly achieved my human height and made my way to Cespar groggily.
As I was making my way to a stale I bumped into a human. He was wearing a leather black cloak full of aged old wrinkles. A hood was over his face so it clouded his facial features. "Ah sorry sir." I said to the man. The man in the cloak stared at me with his invisible eyes. His hand slowly made it's way to my arm. "Umm what are you doing?" I said curious. His hand met my arm and I fell down in pain. "Argh!" I yelled. I looked around and no one took notice, as if this was average. I closed my eyes hoping for the pain to go away in my sleep.
As I opened my eyes I stood up clumsily. I looked toward the sun and it still offered light. What happened I thought. I looked at my arm where the man touched it and my fur there was black.

I ruffle Piggy's feathers wearily. "To home." I whisper. He taps his beak in my hair, nipping at it in understanding and affection. I smirked, giggling a little before stroking his feathers gently. He quickly straightened his neck before taking off. I breathed in deeply, coughing as a few dust particals had flown in the air from his leaving. Well, here I was, Cespar. I hadn't seen my uncle and aunt in quite a while, I doubted they would even remember me. |

I wipe the dirt off of my face, I had grown fairly dusty over this journey. I tilted my head, cracking my neck. I closed my eyes as my once tensed neck became more relaxed. I opened my eyes, straightening up. |

I lifted my head slightly. On my chest rested a raven. Relieved, I smiled slightly.
"Thank Seriana I'm alive!" I exclaimed. "Did Veqris send you?"
The raven squawked. The other ravens began to incline until we were leveled with the platform across the pit. They brought me across to the other end - my destination - and dumped me onto the ground. One raven dropped an envelope by my side, and turned and flew off.
I watched as the last raven dove down the stairs, out of sight, then fixed my gaze on the envelope. What was this?
Gingerly, I slid my finger under the crease and flipped open the tab. I reached in two fingers and grasped the letter gently. I slid out the letter, and tossed the envelope aside. Breathing in sharply, I unfolded the letter:
"Dear Toslar,
I am slightly dissapointed in you. I thought I could trust you, Toslar! Why didn't you tell me before you ran off with Mr. Gibbly's horses? I had a man come to me and fill me in with the information of your quest. As much as I disapprove of this, I'm glad to know you are safe, and I respect you for being concerned for Galiron's safety. Please, next time you do anything like this, notify me. I would give you permission to go! I just want to know where you are, and what you are doing. Your father has been very worried. Please come home safely! Take care, Toslar. And protect your little brother, alright? You two be good, and stay with your adult companion at all times! I miss you.
Love, Your Dearest Mother, Amillea."
My heart sunk. My lips quivered. I had completely forgotten about Pildoor! Where was he? My mother had put her faith in me, and I had already let her down. |

=CHARACTER SHEET=
Name: Meloney (Pro: Mel-O-ney) Sanders
A.ge: 14
Gender: Female
Personality: Meloney is a kind girl, who adores animals. She has a wild side, and can be funny. She also watches out for her friends. The strange thing is, is that she can sorta...SENSE how someone feels. She thinks she may just be good at seeing how someone feels, but there could be another explanation. She trust he friends, even if they aren't loyal to her, or are mean. She refuses to believe anything bad someone says about them or herself.
Appearance:
PHYSICAL-Meloney has curly, shoulder-length black hair that is usally pulled back into a ponytail. She has snow-white eyebrows, which aren't even visible during night and day. She has full, pale pink lips, and a pointed, freckly nose. She has pale, startling grey eyes, with small specks of gold flickering in her eyes. One look at someone, and they immeditely feel her presense. She has a pale skin complexion, almost to an unhealthy look. She feels as though she is ignored alot, given the fact her skin is pale, almost blending in with snowy backrounds.
CLOTHING-She usually wears a cut-off at the shoulder's grey tee with a single, very small black star at the top of the right shoulder, and a black tank underneath that. Her skinny jeans are down to her ankles, and are worn from her wearing them so much. She sometimes wears a black and white checkered belt, and small gold hoop earings. On her right wrist is a small, silver bracelet, with a wolf in the center. She also wears a grey hairband in her hair. She usually stuffs her jeans into her black, just blow the knee, boots.
Weapon: Meloney has two weapons: A scythe, and a sword. She received the scythe from her grandfather, just before his passing. She always pondered at why he had it, but never questioned when he brought it out to show her. He would explain how it was passed through the generations of her family, but never went into great detail. All Meloney kew, was that it was used when her great-great-granderfather, Xioa Sanders, was battling in a great war. Meloney, being quite curious, would take out the scythe from it's glass case in his bedroom, and examine it. It had a single, bulky leather strap tied aroud the bottom of the curved end, and is a shady dark blue color. The scythe has a zig-zag pattern wrapped around the wooden part. She always admired the scythe, and was quite suprised to see that he entitled it to her in his will. She was still feeling sadness, but now she felt joy as well.
Now, the sword is a TOTALLY different story. Meloney did not recieve her sword, but...earned it in a way. She was being taught by her father to not buy her way through life, but to stop and make creations in which she could enjoy when she grew older. She took this words into thought, and began creating beautiful(And sometimes horrific!)pieces of art. Her prized possesion, however, was a sword made of iron. She chose not to go into great detail with it, just do touch ups with it. It has a tiled handle, messily put on, shimmering with radiant colors of all sorts. She sharpens it daily, and literally worships it greatly. She always carries it with her, through thick and thin.
Race: Sorceror (Spellcheck)
Hometown: Meloney's hometown is a small, yet rowdy city. Named Aurora, for the beatiful ice there, is a place she greatly admires. She enjoys spending time there with her small family of three.
Other: Elador ;3
RPing Sample: I looked back, and watched as the slimey, inky black creature slid across the unworn pavement. It made strange noises, and somewhat reminded me of the one horror movie I had seen only days earlier. That's when it hit me:
The movie had come alive. |

Faelia
I look at the tall, looming towers that weren't so far away by now. Should I go in? And if so, which one? And...It seemed that there were wizards in there. You could tell by seeing how much magical energy the tower was emitting. I sighed. |
