| Shark, as he called himself, was wandering around some market stalls in Karsane. Most of them were selling things like cloth, produce, and other staples of life. His eye was on the stall selling expensive 'magical' artifacts. If they were legit, they could fetch a much higher price when being sold to a collector. |

{Rain}
I barge through the front door of my house and scratch my chin. "Hey Grandpa. I'm home, and I brought a friend over," I say while walking down the hall. I glance over my shoulder and gesture for Keyde to follow. "Do you mind if he stays for the night?" I ask, stopping by his room. |

I sat against the nearest wall and listened to the mice chat away until I had begun to feel drowsy. I propped my feet up on a stone brick that had come loose from the wall, and eventually fell into a deep slumber. I had a dream that night... |

| Shark casually walked by the stall, reached for an artifact, and pocketed it. He walked away. The vendor didn't see Shark take it, and still hadn't realized that it was missing. Shark walked for a while longer, then took the artifact out of his pocket to examine it. |

| Deciding that he himself couldn't identify the magical nature of an artifact he picked up from a street vendor's table, Shark decided to take it to a wizard. |

-Toslar-
My dream was similar to last night's, although this time all of the figures noticed me.
I stood in the same cave, surrounded by the same five figures I had seen the night before. The girl who had stared at me last time was now staring at me once again, but I didn't feel as intimidated as before. Her smile widened as I evolved out of the air, despite the inch of water that now flooded the cave. The man who was crouched over the pond the night before was now bickering with two of the five figures.
"...Your fault we're standing in an inch of water!" One figure said.
"I was only trying to free your helpless lives!" The man protested.
"Well, don't!" The other remarked.
The girl strided towards me, approaching me as if I were a strange beast; she seemed both curious and wary.
"Hello." She said.
"Hi.." I responded, although my voice sounded distant and inaudible. The other four figures stopped what they were doing and turned towards my direction. Their eyebrows raised in astonishment.
"Lachelle, who is this boy?" The man asked.
The young girl, Lachelle spoke next: "This is Toslar. I believe he is the one who will free us."
"Free us?" The man said in bewilderment. "This boy does not contain the will power to free five gods that had been imprisoned by other gods!" He argued.
"Gods?" I glanced at Lachelle. She smiled in return.
"Yes, gods. I am Lachelle, Goddess of Dreams and Deep Slumbers. This is Aquatius, God of the Seas and Sea Travel," She gestured towards the man who had been bickering with the others. "This is Ceona, Goddess of Faith and Prospect," She gestured to the only woman who had not been involved in Aquatius' argument, despite Lachelle. Ceona looked drowsy and distressed; I assumed she had spent much time trying to persuade the others to be positive and have faith, but did not accomplish her goal. "The other two are Tonica, Goddess of Lost Souls, and Espardo, God of Fate and Fortune." She gestured to the two who had been involved in the quarrel with Aquatius.
"I- I don't understand," I stammered. "Why are you all concealed in this cave? Can't you free yourselves? Don't you need to be attending to priorities?"
"Don't taunt us boy," Aquatius growled. "We are superior! Mortals will not-"
"Aquatius, calm yourself." Lachelle turned back to me. "We had been imprisoned by the Shadowed Five for millenia. We had dawned on your arrival for decades, and we are most grateful you've arrived. No, we cannot free ourselves. Gods may be able to resist being caged by mortals, but they cannot free themselves from a cage set upon them by another god. And yes, the world had become disastrous without us. I have a limit to those I can communicate with, and that does not include the other Overseers, or any beings on the Overseer Isle. Without Ceona, many heroes and brave creatures had lost hope. Only Seriana knows where they are now," She sighed. "Without Aquatius, the seas are hazardous. Without Tonica, Mornalk is distressed, and there are thousands of lost souls who cannot find their way to the Afterlife. Without Espardo, fate and destiny has become a mess of confusion, deaths, and so forth."
"And so... You expect me to free you?" I then felt like I had a ponderous load weighing down on me. I was expected to free five gods, the creators of Elador. I had my own priorities to worry about! How could they toss another on me like this?
*Mornalk and Tonica are partners- Tonica plays the roll of gathering the lost souls and leading them to the Afterlife. Mornalk maintains the Eternal Land, and keeps things in order* |

I awoke in a heart beat. Veqris had me in his talons, soaring into the sky. The two wood mouse clung to legs, resting on my shoes. Atticus was grasped in Veqris' other talon, and Akris was on top of Atticus' head. Pildoor, unfortunately, was nowhere to be seen. I blinked drowsily, unaware of the height I was above the ground. We were headed towards a source of blinding light above - An exit, I thought. Were we about to escape Hatrek's realm? |

We broke through the surface of the blinding light, and appeared to be in a small body of water. The icy water jolted me out of my sloth; I swam for the banks of the water. I coughed and sputtered, pulling myself out of the water and flopping over on dry land. Veqris dragged the two wood mice, Akris, and Atticus out as well and dropped them next to me. Veqris was the only one who was not wet.
"Why aren't YOU wet?" I grumbled irritably.
"I am a god," Veqris responded. That was all he said, which annoyed me. Why didn't Eladorians receive such magnificent power to keep dry in any bodies of water?
We all lied still, gazing at the skies above.
I willed myself to sit up as my ears perked up. I gazed a couple miles away at two towers with several hundreds of figures in between the towers. They were seemingly fighting. |

"The wizard towers," Veqris said, realizing that I had taken interest in them. "Between those towers is a raging war between the Harladors and Terriscias."
My eyes lit up. The Harladors? Perhaps Galiron was there!
"We should go!" I blurted out. "Galiron may be there!"
Veqris shook his head. "It's dangerous. Those mages are wreckless with their magic. If you desire being morphed into a toad and stomped on, then this is the place to be. If not, you ought to avoid it." |

Name: Faelia Hafit [I switched faith around. Smart, aren't I? 8D]
A.ge: Looks to be fifteen
Gender: Female
Personality: Faelia is the one who's optimistic 24/7. She always looks on the positive side, and is very sweet and kind. However, she does have her downsides. Faelia has rather wild ideas and always so energetic, it becomes a bit annoying. She is also rather lucky in things, like placing bets and such.
Appearance: Faelia is a person with fair skin, and is about 5'7" tall. She has soft, layered blonde hair that goes down to her lower back. She has cool sky blue eyes which always seem alert of everything. She has those signature pointed ears, which stick out somewhat. She wears a blue tunic and wears some kind of brown, tough fabric for pants. Brown leather boots are worn on her feet, and her dagger's sheath is tied by a rope around her hip.
Weapon: Faelia chooses not to fight, but heal instead. But for medical needs and self defense, she carries around a broze dagger.
Race: Elf
Hometown: Haven
Other: Elador...?
RPing Sample: ...No.
