Elador... A gentle name. An astonishing world. But you must read between the lines. You must notice the obvious threat that hangs over this world. Gods- No, menacing gods. Trolls. Ogres. Shadows. Evil. As appealing as this world may seem, there are several who wished they hadn't been born- not in this world, anyways. Do you think we live in a troubling world? Our world, compared to Elador, is safe and intact.
There are gods in the world of Elador. Like all, there are aggressive, ruthless, and savaging gods. These gods are known as the Shadowed Five, for they have hidden in the shadows for ages. Now they make their stand. When you look at it in another point of view, you may think the 'good' gods are just as menacing. Why? Because they've tortured the Shadowed Five. At this moment in time, you cannot affirm neither of them as 'evil'. This is why most creatures in Elador are tense and wary. A war rages between the two groups of gods- The Shadowed Five, and the Overseers. Every elf in its tribe, human in its village, troll in its horde, dwarf in its mines, fairy in its tree, treant in its forest, and hobbit in its valley has been very silent. Then there are the sorcerers. Apparently, a war exists between them two- The Terriscias and the Harladors. They cannot be classified as good or bad, as well. They've both killed eachother- Once you've killed any other deserving creature in Elador, you are then known for your brutal actions. This is why Elador is slowly dying. Several hundreds of creatures have attempted to put an end to these wars, but they've failed to. They've tried stopping the wars on their own. That was their fatal flaw. They cannot stop them on their own. If they got the gods' attention, perhaps... Perhaps there would be hope. Perhaps, the gods must be dependent on the sorcerers to end their war, vise versa.
Perhaps, there is hope. A small twinge of hope resting on the edge of the reality. Is there a possibility of extending that hope? Is it possible to save Elador from demolition?

=CHARACTER SHEET=
Name: "Rain" F. L. Lockheart
A.ge: 14
Gender: Female
Personality: Stubborn, carefree, energetic, vigilant, optimistic, and easily angered. She's unable to take most matters seriously, never knows when to stop talking, and is a pretty big troublemaker.
Appearance: She has rich red, straight, slightly messy hair with coppery highlights that flows past her waist. Rain's side swept, slightly messy, "emo-style" bangs cover her right eye, while a few thin strands hang over other parts of her face. Her large, almond-shaped eyes are a light, sea blue shade with splashes of teal and violet. Rain has gained a few, thin scars resulting from her carelessness- one running along her forehead, on her eyelid, and to the edge of her neck (right side), a couple on her left arm, wrists, and below her knees. She is a bit pale and around the average height for her age. Rain also has a bit of an athletic build. She's extremely skinny though, but not so that she's a hallow skeleton.
Apparel- A thin, light, sky blue, tanktop-like shirt that's a bit loose. The collar swoops down, and right below the middle of the collar is small, cut-out piece of cloth shaped like a diamond. Black laces crisscross between it, and there's a ribbon hanging from the bottom of the diamond. The collar is outlined with a short layer of frills. Two, stitched, black "X"'s are at the hem of the shirt. Rain wears a black cami in the inside that crosses, forming a visible "X" between her collarbones. She also wears a black armband with white "X" patterns on them. It's outlined with a light, Alice blue frill.
Rain wears pale gray, ripped, rolled-up denim shorts that reach the middle of her thighs. A layer of chains hang from the clips on the left side of her shorts. She has black, leather, white-laced boots that come up to a few inches below her knees. The boots have two buckles on each of them. Rain has knee-length, gray-and-white striped socks on, but you can hardly seen them from the boots. She wears black, leather fingerless gloves. Thick, metal cuffs are on each of her wrists- both with ancient-looking/nonsense-making symbols carved into it. Two, thin bracelets cling to her wrist- one with a diamond pattern on it, the other with round patterns. Lastly, Rain always has two bandanas tied around the bottom of her thigh.
Weapon: Black Blood- A sword with a black, metal blade. There are three, small words in another language are carved into the metal- "Life, Blood, and Death." The hilt of the blade is white, and there are golden, elegant patterns traced all over the hilt. Two, silent bells are tied at the top of the hilt.
Race: Sorcerer
Hometown: Aislia
Other: Elador
RPing Sample: I stare up at the beast in front of me. It's at least three times my size, three times my strength, and three times my stink (if I have any). I grip Black Blood tightly and charge at it. The ogre glances down and strikes at me. Unfortunately for it, it's extremely slow, and so compared to it, I'm extremely fast. I quickly sidestep and stab it's foot. The ogre howls in pain and flails its arms. I jump back, move forward, jump, and stab again, this time at its face. I almost laugh as the ogre falls to the ground, its blood drenching me. |

Name: Toslar Lephus Correst
A.ge: 16
Gender: Male
Personality: Toslar is a rather enthusiastic sorcerer's apprentice. He always seems eager to fight, and practice his magic. He is very fond of his two brothers, and his parents. He is gentle and heartwarming towards those he trusts, but aggressive and deceitful towards those he doesn't. He also puts his trust in the gods. He's only met Shona, while hunting one evening. He had come across Shona, the Sun Goddess, shining rays of sunlight down on a dead deer lying by a pond that had supposedly been attacked by a pack of coyotes.
Appearance: Toslar has long, jet black hair that reaches down to his shoulders. His skin is fairly dark, and his arms and legs are rather hairy. He has a soft shade of blue eyes, and a usual smile on his face. He is very slim, and tall. He wears a loose, light brown shirt and a darker brown leather vest over it. His dark brown pants are made from a thick, warm, and rough fabric. His shoes are made of the same fabric as his pants, but several other layers sewn together to make it more solid, rather than flimsy.
Weapon: A bronze scimitar, and a spear with an arrow on the end.
Race: Sorcerer [Apprentice of Galiron]
Hometown: Cespar
Other: Elador
RPing Sample: [You're up against an ogre. Explain the fighting scene.] Toslar, darting through the trees, skidded to a halt in a small field. An unpleasant presence was nagging him in the back of the mind. Whirling around, he saw a plump- but large -ogre standing nearby, axe in hand. Toslar, unsheathing his scimitar, lunged at the ogre. He lashed out at his legs, successfully grazing them. The ogre, boisterously roaring and fretting, hobbled over to Toslar. Toslar side-stepped effortlessly, and strided behind the ogre, where he then slashed its back with his scimitar. Toslar roughly shoved the ogre to the ground, placed the palm of his hand on its back, and spoke a few words: "A'aticuii Harbelo Ferr'iease". The ogre then shattered into several hundreds of pieces, which had blown away by the wind. Toslar had won this battle.
Bio: [I forgot to mention this is the CS ._.] Toslar grew up as a young hunter, hunting for a cause. His father was very ill, and his mother was distressed; she had to maintain Toslar's younger brothers Pildoor, and Briston. Toslar soon met Galiron by accident, wandering through the woods in search of a deer. Galiron invited him to his cottage, and Toslar accepted. From there, Galiron decided to train Toslar. Galiron told the tales of the gods, and the raging war between the Terriscias and Harladors- Galiron fought with the Terriscias. Toslar, desiring to fight in the war, soon got caught up in other situations. |

Keyde- I slipped away as the Ogres clashed. As I passed a dead one, I opened its reeking maw and kicked out its teeth. Taking these teeth I intended to sell. That Sorceror was a fool, cursing Elvish money for me. A Dwarven Mark is just as good as an Elven one when it comes to buying ale. |

{Rain}
I find Grandpa in his study room, casually rocking back and forth while scanning a spell book.
"Um... Grandpa...?" I say, my voice shaky. He glances up and breaks into a wide grin.
"Ah, there you are Rain! Where have you been?" he demands, setting his book down.
"Well... er... you see, I got lost in that forest..." I murmur as he nods with a knowing expression. I frown and stare straight into his eyes. "But that's not what matters right now. There's a fire going on right now! What are you doing, sittin' here and reading?!"
Grandpa chews on my sentence and appears to be deep in thought. But I know that face, and he's just mocking me. "What am I doing? Like you said, I'm sittin' and readin'," he replies, chuckling. When he sees the mortified expression on my face, he stops. "There's nothing to worry about. The fire started at the west end of Aislia, so I put up a barrier." I breathe a sigh of relief and sit on an empty, cracked stool. |

Name: Lilliana Monroda [Goes by Lily]
A.ge: 17
Gender: Female
Personality: Lily is a soft spoken person, and is one of the very few young adult faries in her tribe. She is constantly seen as just a child, and is usually treated as such. She naturally isolates herself from other in her tribe, never quite fitting in with the elderly faries, yet too old for the child faries. She's short tempered, and easily angered. Unlike most of the young adult faries, she doesn't enjoy fluttering around playfully and messing with the humans. Most faries tend to stay in their 2-4 inch height, seeing that it's easier to get around without commotion this way. Lily likes going into her human form often, and walks around. She's loyal to those she cares about, but is not easily attached to people. She can be fairly rude, but almost never realizes it when she is.
Appearance: Lily has a soft skintone, that's very pale. Her hair is bright white and it flows in gentle waves and tangles around her waist. Her bangs are split through the middle and she pulls them back to the back of her head. She has connected them in the back, braiding them into a long, thin braid in the middle. On either side of her head, she has silver berets. Her eyebrows are dark brown that looks almost black. Her eyes are brown as well. They are warm and gentle, a deep caramel chocolate brown. Her eyelashes are short and she wears makeup around her eyes that are only a shade darker than her skintone. Her lips are naturally a light salmon color. However, this is not able to be seen behind her dramatic red lipstick. Her dark eyebrows and blood red lips make her face stand out from her pale complexion. Her ears are pointed and they stick out slightly from under her hair. She wears a strapless dress that is pure white. The dress, in the front, ends about three inches above her knees. In the back, it continues down to her ankles. The dress has lace trim and lacks any design. In the back, it looks as though it laces up, but it really has no functional use to it. It ties in a bow around her lower back. Coming out from her shoulder blades, her wings protrude out. They are a silvery white with a hint of sky blue. They are long and have soft edges. The look similar to butterfly wings, minus the solid color in butterfly wings. Her wings are transparent and have a glittery look to them. Around her neck she has a black, simple ribbon choker. She also has a long pearl necklace that wraps around her neck twice and falls to about her stomach. Around her waist she has a black chain belt. Around her forearms she has two armlets on either arm. The upper armlet is black and the lower is white. On her hands, she has bladed cestus. They are pure white, and are unable to be stained [If that is acceptable.] They buckle around the middle of the back of her hand and at her wrist. On her knuckles, they have points sticking out that are black. The blades that stick out at the fingers are black as well. They go up to the middle of her arm, a few inches away from her wrist. She's used them for a long while, and is as cautious with them as if they were a limb.
Weapon:Bladed Cestus.
Race: Fairy/Pixie
Hometown: A small town called Acedia. Not many venture out to this tiny town, seeing no reason to ever go there. The atmosphere is quite calm, yet the residents have a depressed, sluggish vibe about them all. The name 'Acedia' means "depression without joy", and it is considered a sin too be plunged in melancholy without reason. Many avoid Acedia, even though it appears to be a pleasant little town, because of the residents. They often believe that the residents are cursed under a spell that steals your happiness, although some are very happy and living in the town.
Other: Elador
RPing Sample: I looked up at the ogre, fear casting in my eyes. I fluttered in place as he swung a heavy hand at me. I squealed, zooming up quickly. In times like this, I often forgot what my opposer was like. In this case, it was an ogre. Ogres, although large and menacing, were quite slow. Slow, but persistant. I zoomed up to his head, kicking the side of his temple hard. He merely shooed me away, probably thinking I was a fly. I grimaced, knowing I couldn't hurt him like this. I flew down to the ground, just as his lumbering foot started coming down. The shadow overlapped me, everything going dark. I ran, my wings flapping slowly, too slowly to take me anywhere. His foot crashed down, and my tiny body bounced off the ground from the ground shaking thundering footstep. My wings started flapping furiously and I was suspended into the air. I breathed in deeply, starting to grow in size. Within seconds, I had grown to 5'3, my human height. My wings had shrunk back into my shoulder blades, leaving me to fight on the ground. I looked up at the ogre, swallowing hard. Even though I was taller, I still wasn't tall enough. The ogre was massive in size and towered over me. He swung his club at me, towards my head. I screamed, ducking and running. I ran at his feet, using my right bladed cestus to stab into his foot. I heard him roar above me, a rattling sound that shattered my eardrums. I ripped the blades out from his foot and I shouted, holding my ears as they rang irritably. Blood started oozing out from his foot, but he was far from finished. He used his other leg to try to kick me, but again, I ducked. I scurried past his raised leg, and stopped behind him. He looked around, stomping his feet as he did so, trying to crush me. I bounced with each step, my legs shaky. Seeing me, he swung his fist at me. I jumped out of the way just as his fist collided with the ground. I could feel the ground shaking and trees rustling. The sound of scrambling footsteps scared off the remaining creatures that had been watching. I grabbed onto his thumb, hoisting myself up. With more agility than speed, I made my way up his arm, clinging tightly. He used his other hand to try to slap me away, but I swung and lept to other parts of his arm, and he only managed hitting himself. I was out of breath by the time I reached the shoulder, not quite at my destination. I wheezed, my lungs burning and my throat sore. A shadow fell over me as I watched his hand come down with fingers bent like daggers. I ran to his neck, forcing a my left bladed cestus into his neck, then my right. He roared again in pain, and being so close to his mouth, I nearly passed out from loud, booming sound. Not able to cover my ears now, I climbed up his neck, using the blades to climb myself up. With each stab, he yelled louder. My heart pounded in my head and my temples throbbed. I climbed quickly once I saw his earlobe, and I jumped towards it. I kept my hands outstretched and grabbed it, almost missing. I screamed, dangling by one hand. Hearing my scream, he growled and started shaking his head furiously. I screamed louder, digging into the lobe with my fingers. I managed to get my right hand up to it and hold on. Soon, he gave up and started swiping at his ear. I climbed up off of the lobe and up his ear. When I reached his temple, I shoved the blades on my right hand in. He screamed loudly, and I yanked my hand out as his fist started nearing my body. I looked down, seeing the long drop down. I breathed in deeply, jumping just as his hand collided with my foot. I shrieked in pain, falling to the ground. I transformed back into a fairy in mid-fall, my wings flapping and saving me from smashing into the ground. Pain shot up my leg, but I didn't dare look at my foot. I blinked back hot tears and continued on my way, hearing the ogre groan before his body collapsed to the ground. |

-Toslar- The first ogre fell. I turned to Atticus, deciding to assist him, for he was taking on two at once. Before I could take a step, two other ogres dressed in ragged clothing, light armor, and armed with clubs and daggers, slid in front, blocking my view of Atticus. I risked a glimpse at Pildoor, whose body was trembling in fear as he squatted behind a log, his terrified eyes gazing over the bloody battle. If I didn't survive, nor would Pildoor or Atticus. With that thought in mind, I rushed forward with my scimitar aimed ahead. One ogre attempted to grab me, but missed greatly. The other swung his club, and managed to knock me over. Pain seared up in my shoulder. I winced as I sat back up. "Toslar!" Pildoor cried. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed an ogre reflecting its attention to Pildoor. It then turned towards him, and had begun to move forward. "Pildoor! Run!" I hollered. |

/Sean\ As I was walking in Cespar looking at the different types, of crops. I tripped. When my face was in the dirt I heard a couple of farm boys laughing. I sputtered, brushed myself off and continued walking, to a destination only known to me. |

Keyde- I step into the Curio shop and place the ogre teeth on the counter. The man smiles and gives me 20 silver pieces of Human design. I grin and thank the man, exitting the store with my gains. As I pass a city guard I lean in close and whisper to him. "There are two young boys being attacked by ogres in Genton forest, Icouldn't fight the ogres off, but you could save them.." |

-Toslar-
I was preoccupied, as well as Atticus. Neither one of us could step in and defend Pildoor in this state. We were out numbered. Apparently, Pildoor hadn't moved, for his screams and shouts were audible- and close. Why wouldn't he run? |

Na.me: Luna Theodine
A.ge:17
Gender:F
Personality: Rough around the edges. She is clever and witty, but seems raw, never really understanding herself. Although she is considered a human, she has always had enhanced ability in a scholar sense and a fighter. She seems like an outsider and just a little bit hostile if you were looking in on the group. She is a troublemaker, but a smart one. Stubborn as well. Despite all that, she is likeable and loyal until the end.
Appearance: Jet-black hair. It is usually in two messy braids that lay over her shoulders. Two strands of hair stray from the hastily made braids and lay over her ears, spiked at the end. Her bangs cover part of her right eye and sweep to the right. She wears tattered skinny jeans, band tees and no makeup as if not to draw attention to herself. Wears her favorite combat boots. She has green eyes flecked with yellow and a heart shaped face. Average height/weight.
Weapon: Bow and sheath with altered arrows she made herself that cut through more than an average arrow can. A dagger hides, waiting in her boot.
Race: Human with accelerated abilities.
Hometown: Zelokia
Other:Nope.
RPing Sample: Coming around the bend, I hear a blunt stomping noise. It shakes the ground and me. Instinctively I draw out my bow, searching with narrowed eyes. Walking alone in the dark, I'm an easy target for ANY predator. But I have my bow, and I feel my dagger resting snugly against my ankle, hidden in black leather boots. I tense up for a moment and jump around the boulder that separates me from the predator. And there it is, hideous and warped, with a squashed nose and beady little eyes. It stands maybe 20 feet high. My mere 5'7 is borderline shrimp-like in comparison. The ogre is particularly ugly and flies buzz around it's head. It looks ravenous, probably hungry from days of not eating. No one has come on this trail yet, the officials marked it as too dangerous. But me, being me, decided I didn't care. So I came. And it makes it's first swipe at me. I jump over his massive hand and load my arrow. I'm aiming for his eye, and about to let the deadly arrow fly, but he knocks it out of my hand with his big toe, sending me flying backwards in to the air. I land on the hard ground with a thud and see stars swim in front of my eyes. He stomps down on me but I roll out of the way. I spot my bow about 30 feet away. The ogre is preparing for another kill hit, and I take the risk to bolt across the clearing. My bow is my primary weapon, the only one that'll keep me alive. I quickly load the arrow but don't take enough care to aim, I just clumsily shoot. It lands and lodges in to his shoulder. He lets out a cry of pain. It doesn't matter. It's all muscle in the shoulder, or fat, in the ogre's sorry case. He rips the arrow out and throws it at me. I dodge and do a somorsault between his legs, then attempt to shoot another arrow at the head. He kicks me from behind. I choke out, trying to scream, but the wind is knocked out of me. I can't breathe. He comes up and grabs me with his thumb and index finger, dangling me in front of his hungry eyes. My bow is on the ground. I look at his sharp teeth and hope the end is painless. But then I remember my dagger. I quickly whip it out of my boot and lodge it right in his eye. He drops me the painful 20 feet but I scramble up and out of there, not bothering to see if he is dead. But I hear his body hit the ground as I run out of sight. |

Luna
I walk through the woods peacefully, hand grazing on the bright green leaves, live and vibrant with the excitement of the warm season finally arriving. My bare feet grow dirty, walking on the forest floor, but I don't care. I feel one with nature. Suddenly I hear a wild rustling nearby, along with the grunts and groans of...is that an ogre? Apprehensive, I slowly creep around the brush, and find myself witnessing a battle between two people and the beast. I draw a quick, sharp breath and slowly, sneakily grab out my bow and arrow. |
