He's had his day in the sun, just like Palin, Trump, Christie, Perry, Bachmann, Huckabee, and the rest of the former "frontrunners."

| Who cares? His 9-9-9 tax plan is so bad that even Bachmann can call it out for what it is. |

| His 999 plan is terrible. It gives government a new mode of taxation without getting rid of the other. |

New WSJ poll shows Cain ahead of Romney.
Hmmph. After his pitiful debate performance, those numbers will come back to earth.
Can't you people just be consistent and actually research a candidate before you throw your support behind them? |

Do you not see your error?
9-9-9 is great. That's crap thorae, and you know it. He is completely replacing the tax code, that means the one we have now, it's gone. It's just gone. Santorum's point is inaccurate because if you try to repeal it, he will just veto it and 2/3 overrule hasn't been seen since the Reconstruction era. |

| The 9-9-9 plan wasn't even written up by an economist, but an accountant, and one that worked for Wells Fargo. |

Jericho, you will come to realize one day the only person in the race that has staying power is Romney.
The 9-9-9 plan also disproportionately puts burden on the middle and lower class, unlike the Fairtax. |

Romney is my real worlder. I support Cain like you support Huntsman.
That's misleading and you know it, it raises costs slightly, not by very much, but if you stand by Trickle down then you shouldn't be worried at all.
Also Huntsman is now invalid in my opinion, but I will make a thread on that. |

RAGE HYPOTHETICALS!!!!
Also 999 in my opinion is the first step to a fair tax. |

| I like Cain as a person very much, or I think I would if I knew him. But if you listen to his answers in debates, he honestly does not offer much in the way of substance and is not very knowledgeable on important topics. |

| Yet again you are being misleading, you keep grouping foreign policy in as it overwhelms all other aspects of the debate. I personally don't see him winning, I see him being in someone's cabinet. He was the first person to have a concrete economic plan btw. |

I am talking about economics. When asked about which Fed chairman of the last 40 years was the best, he named Alan Greenspan. The man who kept interest rates artificially low, which caused inflation. In other words, his policies were antithetical to the ideals of conservatives. Could it be that Cain didn't know of any other Chairmen, or at least the achievements of any others?
Here's what he said: “The way Alan Greenspan oversaw the Fed and the way he coordinated with all of the Federal Reserve banks, I think that it worked fine back in the early 1990s,” |

Since he is experianced with how FedRes works, and even KanRes, I am pretty sure he would know the difference between a Good chairman and a Bad chairman.
Also Greenspan is still widely popular at least in memory. Ron Paul probably hurt himself more than helped himself by taking on Cain there. |
