Umm.. you just compare the Vector3 values of the positions and find their distance apart. If they're close enough, then they're touching.

Well you find the value of the fire's parent's position and then compare it with the character.

I know what magnitude ish. :3 Well, then, Roblox devs scripting a fire collision event shouldn't be that hard, then. Just a magnitude detection system that changes with the fire size. :3 |

It'd be a higher priority to make a gui collision detection. You have to use a more complex formula comparing their positions and sizes to detect whether their touching, even though that's not too hard either..
