| Mine is George S. Patton, first US tank officer, former Rough Rider with Theodore Roosevelt, carried the same browning high-powered pistol his whole career, commanded the U.S 3rd army in 1944, and when fighting in Sicily he visited a field hospital and one of the only people there was a single shell shocked soldier. Being the person he is, Patton thought the man was a wimp and slapped him right there. Oh, and he died in a Jeep Crash shortly after the end of WW2. AND he is one of the most well-known General who actually participated in Combat. |

| Oh, and in West Point he went into the Olympic Games for pistol shooting. most of the contestants used a .22 cal. pistol, but he used a .38 cal. pistol. After all was said and done, some bullets looked like they missed but Patton said that some of the bullets passed through older holes. The judges rule was upheld and he did not complain. |
