| For those few Canadians that claim that Canada is less racist than the US, the latter ended Segregation in 1954. The former did so in 1969. Just sayin... |

| People don't realize how strong states rights are in the United States. For example, Vermont was one of the first places in the world to abolish slavery, ever. But all we hear is that USA abolished it with after the Civil War. Not true. |

| And most of us today hate racists. It's the few that make it on TV that gives us a bad reputation. The white hooded men are a minority, they don't speak for all of us. Unfortunately, those are the disadvantages of freedom of speech. |

Right, the states can make and abolish there own laws.
The abolition of slavery law in Vermont could have ended any time, until it became a Federal law, which EVERY state had to follow. |
