(Note: I am not talking about shooting games) Guns are (generally) contraptions that shoot bullets with gunpowder in the back of them out of its barrel when you flick the safetly on and pull the trigger. How that is inherently M-rated is beyond me. |

I agree.
Teach kids how to safely use them at a young age and that will do good. Hiding them will make kids accidentally shoot themselves or others. |

| It's the blood, violence, and intensity that makes it M rated. |

bows arent as efficient at killing as guns are, chooblie.
guns = tools used for high efficiency killing
i think kids can go without guns being forced onto them, kthx |

@Curse Not the point. GUns are not much more efficient than bows. BOws are more cost-effective. There are more stabbing deaths each year than gun-deaths,. |

@Devil
I know.
Parents are just blaming something kids do for being violent.
Yet really, it's their fault.

the message is that guns are extremely useful and easy to kill with
you have to admit, a kid has to be retarded to hurt themselves with a knife if they are old enough
but give kids a gun, lol oops accidentally hit the trigger now what
look at it this way,
having a gun accident = much more common than what, accidentally cutting yourself or something?
much more deadly too. |

There are rarely bow deaths compared to gun deaths.
There are also the permanent connotations that guns have, killing, bloodiness, g4ng violence to name a few.
Bows have a more innocent rap, hunting rabbits, robin hood, etc. |

Lol, they can make stupid 5 year olds violent. Maybe not someone much older, but it's very possible for a young kid to become violent from exposure to violent video games, just as it is possible for them to start wrestling or something from watching WWE. |

just because you do not become violent from a videogame does not mean everyone is immune
some people handle themselves better; some can maybe fight the urge to smoke and do drugs ect better than others, while some kids just fall into it and let it consume them without resistance.
the same can be said for the effect on the brain. some kids play violent video games, yeah, no big deal, shot some guys and stuff,
while others absorb every bullet fired and every scream from the enemies. |

It doesn't always affect younger children. It didn't affect me, anyways. I played Half-Life when I was like 3 or 4, lol. |

look at it this way. there are two types of CoD players.
the ones that play casually, be strategic, get kills and move on, ect, and then theres-
LOL BAM HEADSHOT LOL LOOK UR BRAIN IS ALL OVER THE WALL KID I MESSED YOU UP REAL BAD OLOLO
one of these 2 types of gamers is more likely to be violent. take your guess. |
