x-D I'm interested!
Electric. Because the world will soon be so polluted by the stench of oil and gas. The economic world will fall for paying for gas/oil. Iceland and Antarctica and pieces of Russia will be lost forever if we continued oil/gas. Japan, Philippines, and many other small continents will start to drown because of high water levels in the near future ( because of oil/gas powered cars) And your gas station can be at your home or at someone else's home ( if they have an electric car too.) And no stinky smells! :D |

@Pengu, Thank you for actually, answering with a real answer. :P I agree with your answer too. It's too much of a pain with oil/gas powered cars, inflation, war, etc. I'm using what the majority thinks for an idea I have. |

Electric. Because the world will soon be so polluted by the stench of oil and gas. The economic world will fall for paying for gas/oil.
Please explain how that will happen. How would the economic world collapse? ----------------------- Iceland and Antarctica and pieces of Russia will be lost forever if we continued oil/gas.
How? How would Russia and Iceland be lost? Maybe Anatarctica, but explain how Russia and Iceland would be forever lost. ----------------------- Japan, Philippines, and many other small continents will start to drown because of high water levels in the near future ( because of oil/gas powered cars)
This is a very slow process, I'm sure people would have enough time to get away from slowly rising water levels. ----------------------- And your gas station can be at your home or at someone else's home ( if they have an electric car too.) And no stinky smells! :D
This would not be a help to the economy. I'm sure there would still be "electric stations".

How can you use steam poweredpunk? Steam powered punk requires coal too you know :o If coal is gone by 2012, what else would you use? Just a suggestion* |

E. I don't know.
Obviously electrically powered cars are better for the environment, but what makes the electricity for them? If more electric cars are used, then the source of the electricity (which is most likely petrol or coal) will have to be increased. So, until the source is changed to be environmentally suitable, the atmosphere will continue to be polluted whether we use electric power or petrol for our cars. :(
This deserves another frowny face.

| Sierra, electricity can be produced in great amounts in other ways than just coal and petrol. |

"Sierra, electricity can be produced in great amounts in other ways than just coal and petrol." Environmentally friendly power sources aren't used in abundance yet. |

... Did I just not say the opposite? There have been reports of developing these types of fuels. Large amounts of friction can do the job I'm sure, and isn't there an electric car that runs off startch? |

"Did I just not say the opposite? There have been reports of developing these types of fuels. Once again, petrol and coal are still the main sources of energy for electrical power.
"Large amounts of friction can do the job I'm sure" Goodness, I have to keep repeating myself. Things like that aren't widely used.
"and isn't there an electric car that runs off startch?" If there is, then it obviously isn't popular enough to help the environment significantly. |

Oh hehe How? here you go.
Pieces of places like Iceland and Antartica and parts of Russia will collapse and be gone because of the carbon dioxide in the air ( from the exhaust from oil and gas powered cars ) causing the ozone layer to let in the UV light. Uv light causes more increase in temperature, making it hotter ( therefore melting antartica and iceland and some parts of russia). Before, like in 1790s, cars were not invented back then. Thus making it hard for Antartica and Iceland, etc. to melt quicky. Because of humans using alot of oil/gas powered cars, the ozone layer began to shrink, thus making more light come in, making the world hotter, making antartica and other cold places melt faster, etc.
SO how the water level comes up is when those pieces of ice start to melt. Thus making more water in the Earth, creating higher water levels than of the time before you guys were born. Eventually, in the near future, can drown Japan and other smaller continents. Economy is going to go down because of the high prices for gas and coal ( since coal and gas are unreusable fuels, and it takes millions of years to make.) ...... |
