For those who dont know, barred owls live in most of the continental USA in forests, they are really intelligent and to survive they talk to each other, to communicate with them make a deep who-who-who-who who-who-who-whoooa
basically make the rhythm sound like "who cooks for you, Who cooks for you-all"
then it will respond to you and more might join in, it was a loud one.

No, there are barn owls, who are brown and live in barns or man made structures, then there are barred owls, who are like the rare spotted owl, except with striped patterns.
