Back in 2006-about 2008, we clans had to battle in a very simple setting.
Heres what we did...Each team were to take terms to agree where to go to fight. Depending on the map, it would be 3 v 3, 4 v 4, or 5 v 5. The leader chooses the players he fights with.The leader HAD to come, if he was absent, the co-leader go instead.The teams would have to go to Miked's place, crossroads, or anyother map that one of the clans copied so that they would have privacy.If a clan member were to have betrayed the team during the match, they were instantly booted from the roster.If a clan were to lose, they had to admit it to their clan other than lie like clans do today. Clans were noble and had dignity.If admin powers were used, the clan who played fair would win without question The leaders would choose on a KO limit.
The first team to reach that KO limit would win the fight or if the other team gives up.
Its not that complex guys, can we please bring these back? |

I remember a fight back on darkalex2303 CPA vs ESS or RUM in like 09 I would like this to happen but I don't see it happening. |

| clans didn't exist between 2006-2008, unless you're talking about unofficial clans, which weren't very widespread, i believe... |

We shouldn't have raids, they are totally unfair and unpredictable.
Using this system like the clans did back in the day would give clans much more rep and make them much more fun. |

The funny part in all of this is that if FEAR, RAT, VS, or some other group started doing this, then the other groups would probably do the same.
If indeed that does happen, then raids would stop. LOL
What I just showed here would put an end to clanwars/exploiting players/unfairness.

RAT did that final battle thing Pith fait teams in a fair warzone and have it out. It's kind of like the old days. |

...I realized why clans don't use this method anymore.
Because clans are so inexperienced, they are forced to use cheap tactics and keep fights one-sided.
For normal clan fights with the members clans have now, its going to be like a game of luck for them. |

So, people do generally do this, but only at the very end of a war, and instead of the KO limit they use a WO limit per person.
Would the change from KO to WO be acceptable?
What about something like this: --War Starts-- Either for fun or for a more serious reason (serious reason on a kid's game?)
--Raids are Optional-- This eliminates the unfairness of raiding in the determination of the war, and provide a light way for some people to have fun, but can be overlooked if the clans feel like it.
--Each Week, an actual "battle takes place"-- This system is like what you described. Let's say 5v5. A game is chosen [ Crossroads, Chaos Canyon, etc.; or a warzone crafted fairly for both sides {symmetric} ]. I suggest using the replacing "X KOs for win" to "Eliminate the other team through X WOs per person"; but the other way is also valid.
--Repeat for X weeks-- Before the war starts, a number of wins determines the war (for example, first to 5. The war will last somewhere between 5 and 9 weeks). |

And that is exactly how things were compromised.
The group with the most wins, wins the whole war/feud.
Seriously, why can't clans do this? This seems very logical and fair. |

Can't.
1. I'm a fighter and leader, not an owner of a clan.
2. It would be very difficult and take very long to get a superclan. In addition once players learn what kind of group I'm making, they might not agree with it due to them not being good fighters and not being fair. |
