Before yesterday, my weapon of choice incase of intruders was a double-action only Ruger LCR, a tiny self-defense revolver with 5 rounds of .38 Special. It is compact to extreme proportions and very easy to conceal, plus it has good sights. Recently I was introduced to a new line of revolvers: the Rossi .38 Special. Rossi's R85104 is a revolver in .38 with a 6-round capacity and 4 inch barrel, great ergonomics, and best yet: its double AND single action. The diffierence between a double and single action is simple; a double action is semi-automatic, while a single action needs the hammer re-cocked after each shot. This weapon fires semi-automatic without end, only stopping to be reloaded, but if you shore it with the hammer down, the trigger is set back so that pulling the long trigger wont affect your aim as much. This means your first shot will be accurate and immediate. Me and my dad have orded one such revolver to replace the P228 we have in our lockbox.
if you dont care, just dont post. |

How does it feel to know that a girl knows more about guns than you? |

| if it comes to the point deadly force is neccesary(intruder has gun) a weapon of sufficient calibre is needed. |

My 12 gauge would suffice if it was a intruder at home. Besides, Having a gun is enough to deter most intruders. |

Who says I was upset, I'm just not a leadhead. A good knife was always what I enjoyed most. |

Do you by any chance have a Tarus Magnum... .22 Mag. bullets (Hallow Point).
Because those just seem awesome to have. |

Desert Eagle, Cheytac M200, Barret .50 cal, Remington 870, and AK-74 are some of my favourites :)
The M200 fires the Cheytac .65 round which is a beast. The Barret .50 cal fires a .50 cal, which is overkill. (It is pretty obvious it uses the .50 cal rounds, considering the name of the gun) Remington 870 with a 12 gauge would be good. Desert Eagle is pretty much the Chuck Norris of handguns. It fires some kind of .50 cal round or something like that. The AK-74 is good rifle. The bullets can kill easily. |

@blocky where do i begin... oh yes. first off, obvious BF2/CoD player.
The CheyTac M200 ic chambered for .375 CheyTac or .408 CheyTac, both good rounds with .338-like performance.
Barrel is a company and .50 is a measurement, Barret Arms makes many diffierent .50 BMG rifles, most popular are the M82 and M107 rifles, and the bullpup bolt-action the M95.
R870 is nice, not my favorite.
the IMI Desert Eagle is the obese immoble guy in a wheelchair of handguns, it has an unnecisarily large round and weighs way too much for a realistic handgun.
AK74 simply sucks, too weak and too innacurate. its round isnt nearly sufficent is stopping power or range. |
