1. Do not use ROBLOX record under any circumstances! Record can be slow on some computers, it has crappy quality and the files are rediculous. Use Hypercam, Fraps, Camstudio, or other. 2. Edit your videos! You can use WMM, Sony Vegas, or any other type of program, because nobody wants to see a video that doesn't make sense. 3. Cut it short! If it's 10+ minutes, chances are your audience will get bored and leave unless it is really exciting. Make it 7 minutes or less. 4. Use sound! I cannot tell you how many times i've seen a video spoiled by no sound whatsoever. Even if it's crappy, use music or just sound effects. 5. Do not make your movie require a ton of actors! Huge requirements for a movie often says it won't be made. Use 20 at the most if you absoloutly have to, and if you do use 10+, recycle actors. Don't try to gather them all in one game just to shoot a movie. 6. Do not put yourself as the lead role unless you are experienced with it! When you do, it will be hard to film and you will come up with crappy camera angles thus leading to fail.
Hope they helped! ;3 Tell me if I missed anything.

| that you can script and Cframe doesn't make you a good movie maker, movie making and scripting are complete strangers. |

No, I have to disagree. Scripting can be VERY useful in movies. ESPECIALLY when you need another actor but you don't have any. CFrame is pretty useful.

| Scripting and building can only get you so far, though. I mean, sure it'd turn out to be an amazing set with a little imagination, but you'd need more than that to make a good short film. |

Look in Hacker225's My Models and there will be something called Movie Tools 1.0 and its for different camera angles if your recording yourself. Its really helpful when i have no actors. Check out 1000 Ways to Die In ROBLOX Episode 1 and there is me showcasing those tools. Channel: way240 |

@Way Using a tool for camera angles? That's bunk. You'd still need experience to know what angles to use and when to use them. |

"1. Do not use ROBLOX record under any circumstances! Record can be slow on some computers, it has crappy quality and the files are rediculous. Use Hypercam, Fraps, Camstudio, or other." Its still the only choice you have if you cant download FRAPS or hypercam. I use it. and my intro for me is DA BLACK ANGRY BIRD.
"2. Edit your videos! You can use WMM, Sony Vegas, or any other type of program, because nobody wants to see a video that doesn't make sense." WMM:Good if you know how to use it. Sony Vegas: Da bomb. I would also recommend AVS Video Editor.
"3. Cut it short! If it's 10+ minutes, chances are your audience will get bored and leave unless it is really exciting. Make it 7 minutes or less." People who make short videos, or ofr thier series, usually pass this rule. But most are pretty exciting.
"4. Use sound! I cannot tell you how many times i've seen a video spoiled by no sound whatsoever. Even if it's crappy, use music or just sound effects." Yep. This is a really good tip.
"5. Do not make your movie require a ton of actors! Huge requirements for a movie often says it won't be made. Use 20 at the most if you absoloutly have to, and if you do use 10+, recycle actors. Don't try to gather them all in one game just to shoot a movie." You know you could just make wating actors go somewhere else in your place, and then let them wait while you film the actors on the set. :P
"6. Do not put yourself as the lead role unless you are experienced with it! When you do, it will be hard to film and you will come up with crappy camera angles thus leading to fail." This tip goes to show those crappy videos: "I picked the wrong actor." So many people want to get hired in a movie saying thier best, when they really turn out to be a crappy actor.
~Would you like a side of EPIC with that FAIL?~

@robocorp
I was not talking about if they can get along, I am just saying that Cframing doesn't make you a great movie maker. In fact movie making needs more skill to be done than you might think. |

@way245
Like I said, I never mentioned they are rivals, they just two different worlds. Also if you think it takes small creativity and experience you must be me when I was just starting, because at this point of time a good movie needs to adress a meaning related to the story or the scene using the elements you have.
FACT: The first actual movies were comedy. |

"...they really turn out to be a crappy actor." Mostly argueable since for the most part in roblox when it comes to making videos, there isn't much to do beside listening to the director. |
