If we can make scripts to change scenery, why dont we make one that is almost like real life? Every while it changes seasons, random days are sunny, cloudy or rainy and some sounds of nature. the sunny cloudy and rainy can be skyboxes but im guessing this:
changes skybox for weather changes scenery for season sound for nature sounds
sounds like my first good idea |

Would be pretty cool. But Time Consuming. And maybe some lag along the way who knows...Depends on how many details.
But i will tell the truth. It's a good idea! |

Forgot to add this:
That has been done...Something more cool would be to make a Realistic Terrain Generator! NOW THAT WOULD be cool! And with all the realistic effects...Just plain sweet. |

| I saw this game, it's very good, I play often, it has no lag and it got the best graphics I ever seen, you can play with anyone in the world, but if you commite any crime you have to go and sit in jail, also, if you die, you won't be able to play again, that's sad, the creator could make a spawn system... Anyway, if you want to try out this game, the name is 'Outside'. |

It isn't if you know how to play it.
@Oysi That's true. Best physics ever. Also, it included an aweasome feature with trully random events, almost anything can happen.

| that is a good idea....... maybe the terrain can interact too.... im thinking big... this would be a good idea in the future maybe if lag didnt exist.... but what i mean is like footprints and i guees like if you have a shovel gear and you dig it makes a hole? i guess this would take up a lot of technology right? but its been done in games before. |

The world has to be made of useful hardware to do that. Which by the way is the driving concept behind Aperture Science. :D (They do what they must because they can).
If you want to be able to control the weather, you first need to zero out the noise, and then have enough energy to do control it yourself (which is a HUGE amount of energy. And mass. Not enough space or power to ever completely pull it off). |

| if you look at video games you see this all the time. night to day, seasons, storms, but then again its video games. they have more power and computers would lag to death at this. |

| lol. anyway for the script do you think it would be a good idea too add somekind of part to the script that makes you react to weather? like snow makes you slow or after too long in sun your health decreases... etc. |
