I am thinking about it, but if anyone has any experience from it, what can you tell me about it? Do you need to come to a base every so often for meetings like Civil Air Patrol (I used to be in that.)?
I just know it would look good on my college application to Westpoint. |

If that's what you plan to do, then yes; joining the JROTC at 14 would be a good move.
Also, the regulation hispanic haircut is in line with JROTC rules for hair, last time I checked; so your good :3 |

I need a haircut.
My hair is short in perspective, but too long for me. |

I hate when my hair starts to push up against the back of my ears. Like it's trying to grow over them, but it can't quite yet.
I just keep it relatively short. |

>Hair pushing over ears
I know, that is what I am dealing with right about now. The hair is not over the ears yet, so I have not completely lost. |

Backbone of the US military

Marines are the backbone, The Air Force is the Brain, the Navy is the muscle, and the Army is the Prothetic limb.
The Air Force is has ground units called "Airborne", which are highly trained soldiers used in situations that are just too damn awesome. |

But don't join the Navy.
The hazing there is insane, and the amount of sleep you get is always in the 2-3 hour range. Along with the worst food you'll ever eat. |

So backbones are smaller than prosthetics in your world?

| My dad was in the Navy, that is about the only reason I would consider joining. |

If you are looking for a low-risk job, Navy and the Air Force are the best choices. For something in between, you'd want Army. If you're crazy, and want to see tons of combat, join the Marines, Airborne, Rangers, SEALs, Green Berets, or even the CIA.

| Good. Atleast you aren't that kid who thinks being a SEAL is easy. During one of the most important weeks of SEAL training, you are put to the brink of death, which, for most CoD fanboys, is not being able to play call of duty for an hour. |
