When I use Studio Mode, my computer overheats if I leave it alone for only a few minutes, but this hardly happens when playing games. Only when building on studio.
When I use Build Mode on non-Studio, it says "Not Responding" as it occasionally will do on Edit Mode and Build Mode on Studio.
It seems to lag quite a bit on Studio mode, and I can't insert free models, and even some of MY models and decals won't work. Mainly big things won't insert, but even two Robloxian Figures won't seem to go in from free models at once.
If I use Edit Mode in Studio, it will not save to ROBLOX, if I use Build Mode it will. Neither one will let me insert free models like I stated above.
And also... WHERE'S MY CAKE!? >=O

are you absolutely sure it's overheating? doesn't seem like it.
download piriform speccy, run it and leave it open for a little while while playing roblox studio and tell me what the temperatures on your processor build up to
but i honestly don't think it's overheating and it's more of a software problem. try reinstalling. |

| Roblox Studio is a very CPU intensive game, As such your CPU will heat up considerably while running it, If your computer's overheating your CPU isn't getting enough cool air onto the heat-sink |

| My laptop's fan begins running noticeably faster, and it eventually crashes. |

| I realize what you're saying. But I really don't need to record it, as my laptop gets hot to the touch during these times. I can obviously tell. Most of the problems started recently (all except the overheats). |

well then
i have no clue about the software, but does this happen in any other games? like tf2 or anything else of the approx. same hardware requirements as roblox?
if it does try making sure the fans are fully cleaned, i'd recommend using compressed air to do this, but a vacuum works as well
otherwise you'll prolly need to downclock at the sake of performance speed or maybe alter the voltage |

read the op again; odd considering it doesn't lag in regular online
studio is unoptimized and bad regardless
try another game |
