| That sounds like a very bad idea from the perspective of everyone who doesn't have a powerful graphics card. It also isn't something you can support very easily into the future / om possible future platforms. |

there are some good ways to do darkness effects and fog.
Samacado did it with inverted eyeball meshes, so the fog/shadow follows you all around. It looks good and works nicely, just weld the fog to their head/torso. Much better, and less laggy than stickmasterluke's fog, and you could try it with different shapes and colours for all kinds of good effects. |

@Bunny, I made the same 'fog' effect as Samacado in 2008. You couldn't even call it fog.. Using my particle effects looks better. :3 |
