How would I get a script to explode where you click for a tool?
NOT a Hopperbin. |

Click for a tool? script.Parent.Equipped:connect(function(m) m.Button1Down:connect(function() e = Instance.new("Explosion") e.Parent = game.Workspace e.Position = m.Hit.p end) end) |

Yes, "wait(number)"...
To time it with the effects I scripted in. |

It doesn't work properly...
The wait effect doesn't affect it there. |

MasterDesigner shut up... First you request something, then you spam this category... I don't like you. You don't need two threads in this category, it won't get you answered any quicker. |

My apologies, but it's actually two differant questions.
One was for an explosion script.
One was for a "function".
Sounds fair to me. |

| ITr, that almost worked, but it just made the explosion wait five seconds for it to happen, not wait 5 seconds for the explosion to be activated again. |

MD your logic is dumb. You spammed two threads on the same thing when you should have just waited for someone to reply here. Don't act like you know stuff. Next time read the wiki before coming here...Then you would know how to use the wait method.
[[ITr, that almost worked, but it just made the explosion wait five seconds for it to happen, not wait 5 seconds for the explosion to be activated again. ]]
Uh duh, that's what the wait method does... it waits. |

| Yes, but not waiting in the way it's needed to. ENET, I never said the mistake wasn't made, but it's worth mentioning the issue can;t be fixed. Unless I can delete a thread. If so, please inform me politely, sir. |

| And what do you know, the other thread is gone. Issue solved. Can we work like civilized people now? Or do I have to be shunned for a petty mistake. |

@ENET
Win.
@OP
You haven't told us what you even want to happen!! Give us what you want to happen (the output) and we'll give you the code to do it (input) so we can get rid of you..

If you mean a 5 second cooldown...
a = true script.Parent.Equipped:connect(function(m) m.Button1Down:connect(function() if a == true then a = false e = Instance.new("Explosion") e.Parent = game.Workspace e.Position = m.Hit.p wait(5) a = true end end) end) |

@ENET
I posted on scripters this:
@ENET
We probably should leave SH because we get mad at 7 year olds that can't accept logic.
And then uber-troll crazypotato decided to call me arrogant T_T

Aboy, the script was already addressed, if you read:
script.Parent.Equipped:connect(function(m) m.Button1Down:connect(function() e = Instance.new("Explosion") e.Parent = game.Workspace e.Position = m.Hit.p end) end)
It would be helpful if someone could inform on where to put the wait() function so that it takes 5 seconds to use the explosion tool again, so to speak.
Or is that to challenging? |

Use meteorit's code. It's correct (for once...)
No, it's not too challenging, you just never said what you wanted!
